Just left Cheddars University. First and last time eating there. Salad had a dead fly in it. Called manager Manny and he comes over and ask did I order a dead fly in my food. It took all the angels in heaven for me to maintain my composure! Be aware and check your food if you even consider eating at that place!

Always come here with the boyfriend for lunch. We usually get the lunch portions because the regular portions are enough for 2 people. I ordered the pot roast special and it was so big it lasted us for 2 days. If you're hungry and like big hungry man portions come here. You'll always take your food home with you. Also the chicken parmesan was amazing! It still tasted great the next day when i had it for lunch.

I enjoyed the food here. The service was okay, I was brought out somebody else's food twice. We didn't wait to ling to be seated. Our waiter was nice. Price point was good.

Food was really good, service was fantastic. The alcoholic drinks were on the weak side. They had lots of interesting choices, but one person in my party felt like they were drinking Kool-Aid. I would definitely go back as the food quality & portion size was worth the money. This is a very busy place, but fortunately we only had to wait about 15 min to be seated.

Average, small portion of Salmon on the Blackened Salmon salad. Service was very good , thank you Stephanie. If the protein serving was 2 oz larger then I would rate 4 stars. I spent $21 including $4 tip. The food was very tasty.

The service was great and our waitress was quick the entire time, but the food had zero taste. I got the veggie plate with soup. The potato’s were great, but the rest had zero taste and like it came directly from a can. My wife had the white fish and rice and she got sick from it before we left. Doubt we’ll be back.

The food is pretty good. The price is just a bit high so it is not a place for regular visits or larger families. Service is reasonable. They do seem to have issues with keeping enough of some menu items available, a couple times they have run out. It may require them to trim back the menu.

I've been to Cheddar's in GA but this was my 1st time visiting in Charlotte. The service was mediocre and the food was terrible. I ordered the lunch portion meatloaf with mashed potatoes and my daughter had the ribs with steak. The mashed potatoes were EXTREMELY salty and the ribs were hard on the outside. I sent my food back and they gave me rice instead. Unfortunately my replacement meatloaf was burned on the bottom and salty. Once again I sent that back. I WILL not be visiting here again because after all that my bill was still $36.....WTH I'm paying $36 for 2 non alcoholic drinks, kids meal, side of corn and a salad.... RIDICULOUS!

My wife & I decided to drive down to Charlotte for a family outing, we decided to stop at Cheddars for lunch and let's just say a decision WELL MADE, this place has such home welcoming feeling and the food is a true definition of comfort food. The prices are very reasonable too. Let's just say, will I come back to Charlotte just to eat here again ?, absolutely even though there's one 30 minutes away.

I loved it. Great experience and the food portions are quite large... And very tasty. Worth the price. I was starving when I went and thought I could eat as much as four grown men combined and I ate a third of the shared appetizer (I went with my best friend who couldn't eat a third), and a couple bites of my main meal and was full. Like stuffed full. The honey butter croissants were delicious. Light and fluffy and glazed nicely. I had the Buffalo chicken tenders wraps and let me tell you I ate ONE and I was done. The meat was very savory and quite meaty. Four come in the meal and I'm sure the other three are equally as good. I suggest going here in a group and pigging out on some great appetizers, OR get a couple meals bistro style where everyone can share. Even me being greedy couldn't finish it all. Great calm atmosphere and our waitress was ultra friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

OMG, Phenomenal food and service. I ordered a 12 oz top sirloin dinner and was expecting average like I get from other restaurants. However when I got home with my food it was one of the best steaks that I have ever had the homemade sides I got the mashed potatoes and french fries with the gravy and it was absolutely Beyond phenomenal. Their prices are great and even if they charge more I would still gladly eat there and I am going to be highly recommending them to people I know. I am a new customer and I'm now going to be a regular. Thank you guys for doing such a great job especially during the quarantine. You are appreciated as well as your food and your service

Service and food are 100% than the Cheddars restaurant in Winston Salem. Waitress was very friendly and the manager made a point to stop by our table and ask how everything was. Will definitely come back if we're in the Charlotte area again. Winston Salem needs to take some pointers from this Cheddars location.
