Chateau Carbide

I went to Chateau Carbide with my sister. The food and drinks are exquisite, and service was excellent. The menu has been expanded since my last visit, and I really loved the sushi and sashimi presented in whole different level.

Cancelled my reservations which were apart of a anniversary celebration and then completely ghosted me when attempting to inquire about. Well played, Shiteau Carbide.

Service, view, music, and atmosphere were top notch.

This place had the best sliders we’ve ever eaten with sauce au poivre. So good! No, really. The building is beautiful and the bar is giving art deco vibes. We had fantastic cocktails as well. The service was super slow and one hostess was had an attitude ….and suggested we needed to move along after 90 mins because of pending reservations. Except you can’t reserve the outside, so that felt dishonest. Those were the only negatives. Overall would very much recommend.

The indoor section was not very intimate for a date. We had a reservation and as we walked up they gave the last outdoor table to a group that didn't have a reservation. The tuna hand roll we ordered tasted fishy and old.

Sushi is actually pretty good, and the place has a nice view with outdoor seating

the views are okay, the drinks are decent, and the sushi looks good (if a little overpriced). i didn’t eat sushi but saw some plates pass our table. the service was lacking and we had to request water refills and flag servers to order another round. we saw some tables being checked on but not all of them. might go back, but there are definitely nearby rooftops with better views and more attentive service.

Perfect rooftop for a date or drinks with friends. They give you huge blankets to keep warm along with heaters & fire pits. Both alcoholic & N.Alcoholic cocktails were v good! Got there past their kitchen hours so didn’t have food. Overall amazing customer service especially Erica.

Usually when I eat expensive sushi, the sushi is pretty standard - but the sushi at Chateau Carbide was some of the best I’ve ever had, possibly my new favorite sushi in the city. It was well balanced, beautifully presented, rolled perfectly…and on top of that the views just topped off a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend making a reservation to be outside and take it all in.

Food was amazing and when I felt like I couldn’t eat more the most delicious dessert came and of course had to eat that as well 🤤

Hubby & I kicked off New Year's Eve here, we had a couple of drinks & taken some pictures, it was a great experience, & the view is amazing, they have nice cabanas with heating lamps if you want to be outside in the cold weather, I didn't have their food so can't say if its good or bad, but it was a great vibe.
