Chartreuse Bistro

Exceptional execution!! Very impressive. Even the drinks have an artisan’s flair. Great, caring staff who understand the business. The tastes in my dish were indescribable. Fennel, hints of orange and fresh herbs caressed my salmon. And I say caressed, as there is no other way to say it. Balanced execution demonstrates restraint and skill of the young chef. Ingredients are a testament to management who clearly cares to spend as needed. The dynamics and attention to detail are exceptional. I watched the Matre’d hand prep the salads with a napkin removing hints of drops of dressing from the plates... for a table of 20!!! They cared as much for customer 14 out of 20 as they would for me, and that is worthy of my highest endorsement!!!! Will frequent here EVERYTIME I visit Norfolk!!!

Held a large luncheon there - Fantastic food and service!!

We stopped by Chartreuse Bistro last night and had a seat at the bar. This is a lovely, minimalist space. The food was AMAZING! We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend!
