Food is ok, not great, but cheap. 50 cent oysters is a great find. Also, they allow pups in their beer garden out back and the patio out front and are super nice about it.

You know what, I love this place. Good burgers, good beers, great atmosphere. Come here with a group or just a friend or fly solo. Just know oysters are $.50..or at most a dollar.

If you're like me, you're going to look at this menu and think to yourself, 'Gee, this $7 cheeseburger is supposed to be good but it's probably too small for a meal. I should get the triple cheeseburger.'If that's you, don't do it. This is so much food. Seriously, Charlie's is a great deal. Also, $0.50 oysters before 5pm!

Omg the fish grilled cheese is great. Gotta have that tartar sauce with it. Yummy

Unfussy bar with good beers and great eats

The beer-battered scallops ($15) and waffle fries ($0.95) were good, but didn’t sit well in my stomach later. We sat in the rear outdoor patio and saw several large rats crawling and squealing around the back rock wall. The portions were really small, especially considering the price. Service was also really slow, and the waiter neglected to give us ketchup and other condiments until we were close to done with our meal.

Charlie's place is not easy to rate. It really depends on what you're looking for. They have 22 beers on tap, a unique style and good and cheap burgers. It's a good place to hang out for a while before going somewhere else. Don't expect something special or premium. It's a super chill place that you might either enjoy or hate.

Place it’s really good, service and food, but I think they still can do better.

First time in the area and found a nice laid back place. My bartender, abde, was the best! He was nice, attentive, and made it a great experience!

Despite having tables alluding to a more social setting, the music was so loud that none of us could understand each other. Despite asking it to be turned down even a little to make it bearable, it was not. Not an experience I would like to repeat.

Great tasting burgers

Nice dining place in the heart of Harvard. They also have beer garden seperately. Food is really nice. Some what or the other is happening everyday. Service is good.Overall Nice experience and People like beer, food and friends will surely like this spot

Local pub vibe with 2 floors. Lots of seating upstairs. Loved the menu. It's right across the street from the Charles hotel.
