Nice friendly pub.Good tap beer and some food is served here.There's a little stage for occasional band or other live performance.Cosy place with lots of books,games,cards,chess and a small pool table...there's even a classical guitar there in the corner for anyone who's brave enough.All in all a trendy pub for all ages.

Place of the soul, the perfect Café, the place where I would like to be every evening, in every moment. Music, people, beers, billiard, pinball machines, books, lights, words and laughter. Everything you need, always. My favorite place in Amsterdam. And our dream is to come one day to sing at Check Point Charlie!❤

Low key, awesome staff, great for hanging out, delicious currywurst

Nice cafe, lots of room and selection. Large terrace, food and drink available, also around several restaurants and coffe shops available.

Great live music

One of the highlights in the neighbourhood is Cafe CC. It is located on a corner with a view on two streets, a channel (Westerkanaal) and a bridge that sometimes is lifted up for passing boats. Checkpoint Charlie has a great outdoor space with tables where you can enjoy long afternoons and evenings with your friends, talking, tasting several great brands of local and international beers, listening to the really good music (often 60's soul, surf, rock) played by a DJ, and watching people passing by! Some days there are live bands, too. It is one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam!

Drinks and snacks with good music, nice people and staff. You can smoke outside, there are many tables. In the summer is a super place to enjoy the evening with friends.
