Had an excellent time. Meet here with friends and family for some holiday cheer 🎅🤶Some are beef andsome had fish. I like always had both 😎🤙.No matter who had what we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to all. The staff was really great and handled our nutty group with grace. Thanks 🎅👍

Not a huge selection from the menu but a very good variety with, not surprisingly, a real emphasis on seafood. We were part of a moderately large group and everyone seemed extremely happy with their meals. I can say for certain that the mahi-mahi appetizer and the sea bass entree were awesome. A large wine list, quite creative offerings of mixed drinks and a respectable selection of beers. Certainly not an inexpensive place to go but was a very enjoyable experience and someplace we would consider going back to for very special occasions.

We sat out side on a very hot day. No fully recommended as at times there is no breeze. Waiter kept forgetting to bring us dishes and silverware as the tables outside are not setup. Overall service was great and they were very accommodating. Scallops were yummy. I got the surf & turf and my boyfriend got the lobster. Lobster was a tad salt but yummy. Steak was prepared well and could be cut with a butter knife. Can be on the pricey end depending on what you get but that is to be expected. Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu.

Good menu selection. Food looks excellent but lacking in the spices. Overall great atmosphere. The patio dining made for a nice view on a summer evening.

What a delightful brunch! Outstanding attention from the reservation to Ericka, our server. The food was outstanding! The whole experience with out-of-town guests was wonderful! Cudos to the chef and management!

The service was better than the food, I didn't have any drinks. I had crab cakes they were good but not great. I have had much better in Virginia cheeper cost for sure. I was a return customer but the last time I was there was in the 70's. My sister chose the restaurant. I feel I can cook better for myself. I'm not a professional cook I'm a retired Aviation Electrician and do arborist work. I like to eat and I'm fairly fit I climb trees on a regular. I would recommend this restaurant for the Grand Rapids customer. I will only return if my mother, sister or a date requests the restaurant not a first choice. I was under dressed just finished working. It was a good time. Service was tops server was Rob and was rewarded over 20%.

This is fine dining as it should be. Our waiter ALBERTO, should you be fortunate enough to get him, is as professional as they come, including Europe's best restaurants! Forget the slightly aging facility...the location is great on the river, and they have white tablecloths! The menu is primarily seafood, which is good. The New England Clam Chowder was exceptional. Drinks are not cheap, but made expertly by a real bartender. Twilight dining menu (before 6pm) is an incredible value. We'll be going again.

I love being by the water, while I am enjoying this beautiful place to eat. The crab cakes are the best around . I could order those for dinner, with another appetizer, for my main meal. You have it all here, if the sun is out! As if that makes a difference. The glass decore just brightens up your day, and so clean cozy and the waiters are servers to please.

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious appetizers and entrees. Service was exceptional. Nice variety of menu items to satisfy any craving. We had a fantastic evening. Thanks to our superior waitress Elle! Don't miss this hidden gem!!

Our favorite restaurant in the area! Charlie's Crab has helped our family celebrate a number of special times over the years. The best Sunday Buffet in town has been our 'go to' place on the way home from a long romantic weekend downtown. Perfect, interesting food, great wait staff, perfect river front location complete with decor call outside to the great businesses that make Grand Rapids exceptional.It was only logical Charlie's Crab helped us celebrate our 53rd Anniversary. Thank you!

Nice interior and good food. Very lively and loud happy hour. Drink and food specials. Prix fix early dinner special. Venerable location that may have gotten overlooked for the newer trendy spots but this place still can deliver great food, drinks and service. Just don't be in a hurry.

The lobster was excellent, but seemed a little on the small side for a Maine tail. The Swordfish was good, but the Dynamite sauce made it excellent! Our waitress was nice, but wasn't the best at giving suggestions about the menu. A nice bonus was the free parking and complimentary valet that is hard to find in downtown GR. Overall, it was a great tasting meal.

Went for the first time as my son picked it out for his 21st birthday. Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. They made it special for my family. My son enjoyed his first Mojito and I enjoyed the mock-tail since I was driving.

Nice spread of food, absolutely loved seafood cake & bacon. Smoked salmon was nice, however i did not see the fish station refilled, not good. Live omelet station was nice , desert section is above average, french toast is well balanced, salami & shrimp were also nice. Hunter, our server, is very nice, refilled our liquids & took away our plates as we finished. Nice view of the river as well, over all , good service, can improve on flavor.
