Charley's Boat House Grill

This is the first time we have been here in years and boy was it delicious. We had the special Pork Osso Bucco and the Stuffed Flounder. My 4 year old special needs son was treated like royalty and ate a plate of salad and a bowl of chowder! Highly recommend for a family dinner! We will definitely be going back!

I got the prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes it was excellent. My wife has the scallops and she said they were perfect. It has an old school salad bar that was really good. Service was excellent. If I'm in the area, I'm totally going back.

I would give 10 stars if I could. The servers are very nice. They are very observant and notice when your meals are finished. I didn’t need to ask for another drink, they just delivered. The food is exquisite and they have the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. The waitresses and waiters are kind mind-readers. I didn’t drink, but my party said that the alcoholic beverages were magnificent. The food was phenomenal and this establishment is, by far, my favorite restaurant in Florida.

We went twice. First time was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his prime rib and I liked my shrimp scampi. Nice salad bar with many items.Second dinner wasn't as good. My husband had the veal chop which he said was tough and not very flavorful. I had the chicken which was very good. The cappuccino was DELICIOUS!

Stopped in for the first time. Greeted and seated by pleasant hostess. Had the salad bar, great fresh selection, with grilled shrimp. Great lunch, and pleasant staff.

Love Charleys Boat House! Amazing salad bar! Not the most scenic place, a bit low key, but since their newly renovated bar area, great place to stop with my husband to just grab a bite at the bar with salad bar every time! The manager David has always been very friendly and accommodating, whether we came in with our big family group or just the two of us!

The salad bar is excellent! Lots of choices. We had the sea bass and prime rib. Both great. My problem was the service. We were there over an hour and our server NEVER asked even once if we needed anything, how is your meal, can I get you another beverage? They were busy but no excuse to not look our way as he passed our table 10+ times. The place isn't cheap and I expected much better service for the price we paid.

Salad bar. Soups. Apps all are great! Service....a little overbooked. Staff ratio to customers....challenging. Nice bar environment. People in bar frequently ate there too. Nice option when restaurant is really busy.

I had a great dinner here. I could have made the salad bar my meal, it had more than just greens and vegetables. The salad bar had potato salad, macaroni salad, and others like fruit etc...the prime rib was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Christopher and Morgan took very good care of me as well as making recommendations. Thank you for a top notch experience!

I have enjoyed dinners here before great food friendly staff, went for lunch on a busy Thursday and awful experience, waiter was less than helpful. I have food allergies which I know is difficult for restaurants. It can also be embarrassing for me when ordering especially when the wait staff let's you know you are annoying and that they don't have time to answer your questions (even after telling me to ask about the menu items because they do have a special menu). I tried ordering plain steamed shrimp but was told they could not do that they were too busy, ended up with chicken that was as dry as saw dust. Waiter did apologize for the dry Chicken and took it off the bill. I will go back but will do so at Dinner when they have a larger kitchen staff and more menu options.

I decided to try this place from the recommendation of a stranger I had met earlier in the day and was pleasantly surprised. I was seated by a window with a beautiful view that looked out over the backwaters. While I originally planning on having seafood, I just had to try the 15 oz prime rib as soon as i saw it on the menu. After my experience there, I must conclude that both the service and food was excellent. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in town.

We ate at the bar. A bit crowded in season, but the service and the staff were excellent. Salad bar was great. I enjoyed my steak and my wife enjoyed the pasta entree. Highly recommend it. The prices were not outrageous. Great place!

50 year favorite on FMB. Superb salad bar. Friendly staff. Delicious entrees. Worthy "Early Bird" menu and happy hour drink specials. Nice inlet water view. Classy place!

Ample parking. Greeted at the door and immediately after host took us to the table. From there... well, it was a little bumpy. We waited and watched while all of the tables around us were greeted and brought beverages.By that point, we figured we were forgotten. One of the 3 people I was dining with got up to get someones attention. We were greeted and beverages order was taken. We waited awhile for beer/wine and had to ask for the water, which was requested at the same time ad the other beverages. “AYCE” Salad bar has plenty of options and is a great starter. Bread is delicious, but maybe smaller rolls that don’t have to be cut would be more convenient.Overall, everyone was satisfied with their meal. Fish was a bit dry, but steak and scallops were cooked perfectly.Dessert was delicious.
