Charleston Restaurant

I took my wife to the Charleston for her birthday this past Saturday. First time there. We will return. The Charleston is an excellent restaurant. Perhaps Baltimore's best. Service is superb. The dinner choices (with the wine pairings) are excellent. It's clean, fairly quiet with a handsome decor. Why four Stars? Dessert was alright. Not bad, not special... just alright. There was no wow factor there, unlike dinner (that shrimp and grits is dynamite). Maybe I'm just nit picking. Either way, we'll be back. Highly recommend!

Attentive staff. Enticing selections of delightful food. Choose 3-6 selections from soups, salads, seafood, vegetables to meat dishes. Amazing wine selection. Full bar. Quite pricy - so enjoy for a special occasion. Plan to spend several hours there. Savor the time with good company. Best of Baltimore.

Really loved this place! Great ambience, the service was amazing and the food was delicious!! I went with my sister and we had a great time. I was visiting from nyc and I would love to try this place again if I visit Baltimore again. One thing is there are a wide range of food options so it was hard to decide haha

This is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. It is a dining experience worth your time and attention. From the moment you enter, you will feel welcomed and well cared for without the overt pretentiousness that you might get at a place of equal caliber. We come here every so often, and are never dissatisfied. We most recently were here for our 30th anniversary, and once again were not disappointed. The young Sommelier was engaging and helped me understand what to expect, and the history of the wine I was drinking. The tag team of Jocelyn, Carmen and Nick seamlessly provided amazing service without being disruptive. The food is absolutely amazing, and the experience is so nice, it is almost embarrassing to take pictures of the courses. We stayed for over 3 hours, and could have stayed longer. Sit down, talk, and enjoy immaculate service, visually stunning courses, and amazing culinary prowess. I would argue that this restaurant is the best bang for your buck in town.

Arguably the best restaurant in Baltimore. Crafted dishes with excellent wine pairings. The waiters are very knowledgeable.

Found this place while walking through Yalestown. My buddy and I sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Ben at the bar is a wonderful ambassador for the establishment and knows a lot about the NBA. The guys working with him were friendly, too. Gave us a lot of tips about visiting Vancouver. The service was top-notch all around.

This restaurant was a great experience and one that everyone should experience at least once. The service and food was wonderful with one exception. While waiting for our table we went to the bar to have a drink and the bartender was standoffish and cold, not very welcoming. The drinks however were delicious and the type that we still crave and think about now.

8 times Nominated Chef Wolf delivers the goods . An amazing menu Michelin Star worthy . Had a perfect Duck as well several dishes that all oozed perfection .

I was treated to a retirement dinner here and let me just say it was fabulous. The bartender heard my dinner guest say she liked sparkling water and the next thing I knew she had a glass of sparkling water. The food was AMAZING!!!!!! I will be back.

Definitely an experience you want to have! Went with my best friend, and was not disappointed. It was pretty phenomenal. I recommend any dish with seafood or mushrooms (weird, I know, but trust me)! Would love to go again!

The most magnificent dining experience. The Chef is a genius. The food is divine, the ambiance is lovely, and the service is exquisite. All employees are exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I cannot wait to go back with my husband!
