Very friendly staff, both my waitress Lena and the manager Matt(?) made sure I had everything I need. Daily drink specials and unique burgers are a nice touch, and I appreciate any restaurant which features tater tots. Had a refreshing Mexican mule with my dinner. Cheesecake portions are very generous. Another great meal in Charlotte!

Visited here for the first time today. The hospitality (greeted by Marsha) upon entering was exceptional. Greeted with a smile and made to feel like a regular patron. Today was $5 martini day and I indulged in two tasty pineapple martinis. Our main course were the fish n chips cooked to perfection and the Cali burger equally delicious. It was also nice to have a brief conversation with the owner. My wife and I definitely plan to become regulars. Prices were also reasonable

We love Char Bar. They do a great job. It's rare to find a place that cooks your burger correctly. I usually have the Leap Year (lettuce, tomato, bacon, garlic aoli and a fried egg). Wedge Salad is always a solid choice too. We like sitting at the bar and eating a leisurely dinner. Phil the bartender is great with suggestions and always good for a laugh.

So - we are regular customers...we love the menu, atmosphere and service. The staff is just great - especially “Z” I believe his name is. We are regulars and he always comes over to say hi and works hard to make sure guests are happy and orders are correct. I sincerely hope the owner(s) are aware of what an important, engaged hard-working asset they have working for them. He truly adds to the experience and obviously drives consistency. I’ve also observed how well he gets along with the staff. We are so lucky to have found this place...don’t ever change!

My mother and I went around 10:30 a feed minutes before they closed. And our waiter and the manager Zeek were very professional they made sure they gave us excellent customer service. I complemented the manager for just being a great manager and for keeping their A game up even though they were closing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone food was excellent and very fresh !!!
