Chang'an Restaurant

A fresh fusion take on food. We loved the Skewers and the Oysters. The garnishing on the lamb skewers was delicious. I loved the pepper and the oysters lived up to the expectations. Remember they have a happy hour on much of the food and you are going to love the food regardless of the prices. We did not experience the wine list or drinks but they had a good option list. The place is lively, bright and fun without being over crowded.

Food: decent - it's not quite Chinese, definitely fusion of sorts. The scallops were good, as was the garlic eggplant. The salted egg pumpkin was interesting, a wierd combination of flavors that I would not order again. Really good happy hour with cheap beer and a good selection of eats Service: good, the servers were attentive. They also turned down the AC when we asked since it was so cold. Ambiance : very nice space, pretty huge. They also had a patio which hadn't been cleaned yet even though it was already June in LA. Overall, I wouldn't visit again as the food wasn't unique enough to worth a return visit and doesn't satisfy my craving for Chinese food.

The restaurant is amazing with good authentic and fusion Chinese food. The waiters were attentive even on lazy Monday night. I loved their cutlery and modern plates. I am gonna visit this place soon.

A food amount is not that much so it’s a little expensive if you wanna be full. The environment is nice and you can get free drink by checking. Something really weird is that they don’t sell Chang’an food even though it’s called Chang’an. 名字叫長安結果食物跟長安一點關係都沒有...

This place is surely one of the coolest restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am incredibly satisfied. They manage their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they offer. You surely will enjoy this this place. Warmly recommended.

I meet friends in this place quite a bit! This is the best place to eat. I go there routinely. The food is just great, the team is helpful and the prices are decent. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a decent supper.

The restaurant looks great with nice decor and lighting. Friendliness of staff is hit and miss. The food was unique and different from most Chinese places nearby. Definitely has a fancy vibe. Parking at the plaza wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. The food was delicious just that it comes at a higher price. You could order a small platter which will feed a couple of people with some other dishes and pay more than what you would at a Korean BBQ spot. This was a great experience but I would probably not come back if I didn't have to.

Much fancier place than I expected. There is beef tataki, beef ribs. Oh my they have the most tender ribs ever!! Food comes in small portion and fancy presentation if you’re into that. The food is great and service is great. Keep in mind that a 12 percent service fee is already included.
