Chang An Restaurant

I went here all the time in high school and loved it. I came back for the first time in maybe 20 years last weekend. I was afraid it wouldn't live up. It had changed a bit, scallion pancake is now scallion pie and it's been changed, the general gaus chicken is a bit less crispy, but I have to say, overall, I think it's still my favorite chinese place in MA, even considering it's the fairly obvious American Chinese Food menu. When I'm around Concord, I'll continue to come here to eat.

Standard Chinese restaurant fare. Perhaps a bit fresher than most, at least based on their lunch buffet (which I admit may not be the fairest time to judge a Chinese place). Good place for a lunch meeting, though. Quiet, solid food, a bit light in the dessert department. A 2015 review said nice things about their Mai Tai, but I did not have one.

They changed the fabulous buffet and took away almost everything I liked. If tofu or and greasy fried food is your thing you may like it

I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a fabulous evening and the restaurant was evidently the reason for that strong meeting. The crew cooperated in a very nice manner, the meals were delicious and my friends were extremely glad. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Love this place, always fresh Chinese food, Mai Tai that will brighten any day. Good food, great staff. Always see someone in there I know. Highly recommend this place.

The restaurant is excellent and broad, the food was delicious and the prices were very fair. quick, productive service and very welcoming staff members. Highly recommended.

Great food. Service is a bit Inflexible. I asked for a taste of a wine before I bought a full glass and they were very unaccomodating. The wine was poor but I paid for the full glass. This is a common request.

Bad and rude customer service. You have to find your own forks/knives/napkins and flag someone down for any drinks (if anyone is even there to flag down). The tables are dirty, don't get cleaned between people eating on them. Weird bar area that you have to go through to get to the actual food area. Food it mediocre, many better places around.

last night was the first time we went to this fine restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the efficient service, with the superb dishes and wine and with the decent cost. We will no doubt return there in a short time.

This place has decent food but slow service. Food was nothing to write home about. The decor was mehhh. Lack of options in the area were the reason for our visit. This place was packed but probably because it is so close to the hospital. If I were visiting the hospital, I would probably go back because of lack of options.

The food is regularly well prepared and delicious, employees gives great customer service. I liked the cleanliness and ambience. Highly recommended.

Lovely Chinese food and friendly service, this is a go-to option for family gatherings or other special occasions. The quality of the food itself is great, with various options, all of which are relatively healthful in preparation. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely recommended!
