I came here with friends on a Wednesday night and the entire restaurant was pretty empty, only limited menu for dim sum (5 items And dessert) but we ordered off the menu for some dishes.Service: honestly best service I've had from an Asian restaurant. All the food came out when ready.Food: we ordered 3 main dishes and 2 dim sum dishes and all were great.Would love to come back on the weekend for dim sum.

Best thing about this restaurant is short waiting time for table in peak time. I would rate the service as very good, cleanliness and decor as OK. Food would be graded as 'D' as some dishes come out barely warm, that's a major No-no for any chinese foods and some ingredients are of lesser quality.

Super traditional dim sum spot. There, you'll find all you could expect from a place like that... Big screen on the wall, live fish tanks, greeeeat meal for affordable price tags. Family meal style, big spread, happy tummy!!

Food is good. Deducted 1 star for the following:1. had to wait for 1 hr on a Saturday morning before seated. Then noticed at least 4-5 empty tables. 2. my tea cup had some residue. after pouring tea in it, I saw oil floating

The restaurant used to be under different management. Since the grand re-opening, the quality of service has gone way way way down. The food is decent, however there were a lot of dumpings that were quite soggy.

I really enjoyed the dim sum we had at Champagne Seafood. There was a good selection of the classic dim sum standbys, plus some more eclectic dishes. I don't think there was a single dish that I tried that wasn't good. One thing to note, this is not a trolley restaurant. The dishes are ordered of a menu at the start. This allows you to get exactly what you want, but everything comes out at once, which can be a bit overwhelming. I have no idea how much the dishes cost so cannot speak to the actual value.

The best, perhaps the most authentic dim sum restaurant in northern part of the peninsula. Good food, dishes taste like they are supposed to back home. Most importantly it is clean, the staff is generally very friendly. Just like any place, if you the staff and have build at least a casual rapport with them you will be treated much better.週末有豆è…花和其他甜å“。

Good food, reasonable prices and not much to wait for table during the week.

This location has changed several times in the past few years, but I'm glad that champagne is here to stay for the most part it seems! I've come for both their lunch (dim sum) and dinner services and have enjoyed both immensely for the most part. Both dining options are good for groups of friends and family and the pricing is competitive to the local fare, but exceeds in terms of taste and flavor.

My first time with great friends and had eaten so much and tried some foods for my first time and loved everything I had!

Great dimsum place. Their portions we're enough. Their service was a bit lacking while getting the check. As long as you are not in a hurry I would recommend the place. Come and relax and stuff your face with the best dimsum in town. Their desert buns come in great animal shapes and are very cute! My favorite was their hargow.

Great traditional and new style dim sum downtown San Mateo with convenient parking lot behind it.

I don't know why there are so many bad comments . I came when it was super busy on a Sunday afternoon and the dim sum is really affordable for Bay Area prices . Customer service was amazing . Although they were super busy we had many of the floor managers come up and make sure we had already ordered our food and checked to make sure the food was coming out. The wait was not that bad we only had to wait 30 minutes but I thought it was worth it . Literally decided to go in on a whim because I saw the pictures of the xiao long bao å°ç¬¼åŒ… and it was completely worth it ! I'm coming back again.

We came hear for brunch. The dim sum has gone a bit downhill since I last visited a few years ago. Not the best in the area...it used to be our go-to place.
