If you appreciate good sushi, a fun atmosphere, and good service then this place is for you. They don't take reservations. Well worth the wait. Enjoy! Wish they sold their t-shirts!

Easily one of the top 10 best Bay Area Sushi spots so expect a wait. If you are lucky and beat the rush at times that is a bonus. We did yesterday but when we left over 20 people were waiting but there are other spots nearby to kill time now. Fresh sashimi all day urrr day!

Took my nephews here to eat lunch because we wanted sushi, I've had cha cha before but as in to go it was always to busy when I come by. But today the wait wasnt so long I checked in on the waitlist and was seated a couple minutes later. My nephews are usually the California roll type but I started getting them other rolls instead my nephew loves the Lion King so he chose that and my other nephew decided to try the Crab meets Crab and that ended up being his favorite we ended up ordering another one. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki bento and the Hawaiian Poke Salad, they liked it but wished there was more fish then veggies (I think they were expecting just the poke like how they got it in Hawaii) but overall they enjoyed everything and said this is their new favorite sushi spot.

Food ok. Generous portion and price is a deal. Good for a meal the day you don't want to live in your kitchen, but not anything special. Service is very nice with friendly people but as I said food are not bad but not special either

Been going to this place since the day they opened the doors and it has only gotten better. This my top sushi place in the South Bay. The crew is nice, the facilities clean, food is fast, and super super fresh. Whoever handels the ingredients knows what they are doing. Here you will find your classic rolls and some creative mashups. But who cares, they are all good and fresh. Try them all.

This is a popular, small sushi place. It has been around and still gets plenty of patrons coming back over and over. We came in the middle of the afternoon which in most restaurants would be dead business or clised for a few hours. With this place, we still had to wait in line. Not a bad line, but the wait is worth it, hence the busy wait times here. They have a good selection of different regular specialty sushi. We usually try something classic and something different everytime we come here. Plus, they have kid's menu, in case you are toting the little ones. Giancarlo loves their teriyaki plates and gyoza..

This is what I personally consider good sushi in the city of San Jose. At times the wait time can be lengthy but like the saying goes, its well worth it. Space inside the actual location is a bit cramped, actually its REALLY cramped however the food is exceptional and you forget about your personal space while you salivate over the delicious sushi. San Jose needs more Cha Cha locations!

Food is good and service is attentive but if you want to pay for the check you'll have to flag someone down or go up to the register to pay. This will save you a lot of time sitting and waiting for it.

Cha Cha is a really great medium price sushi restaurant. Honestly you probably don't need me to tell you that, since when you arrive there will almost certainly be a line out the door of people clamoring to get a seat. The wait is well worth it however. While their specialty rolls are in the $12-16 range and aren't very large, they can be very filling. The fish and ingredients they use are incredibly flavorful and the roll specialty roll I ordered blended that flavor with a n array of textures that was really satisfying. Not to mention they tempura fried my sushi, which I initially thought would be a huge turn off but ended up really solidifying this as a great place to go if you're craving sushi.

Chacha is always packed, no matter weekday or weekend, with good reason. The high turnaround means their fish is always fresh and the portions here are huge. An order of udon and a roll is usually good for one person between me and my wife, but here it's more than plenty for both of us. Definitely coming back here again.

I live really close so this is our go to sushi spot. Its always packed so I usually takeout. Its perfectly convenient to call them on my drive home from work and pick up for dinner. Always fresh and yummy. Even when I'm not in the mood for sushi they're chicken and salmon teriyakis are good as are the noodles.
