Cest La Vie

The food was disappointing, it locked flavor and complexity. Ambiance is very French but definitely a little bit run down with age and not super well maintained. Staff is very friendly put the cooking left a lot to be desired. I had the sea bass plate at $34 it was dry and had basically no seasoning other than the sauce that came underneath it. We also got a plate of seasonal vegetables which seem to have a spoiled carrot on it. We didn't get a chance to try the pastries but they did look quite good.

Cheats. Menu price is different from what he charges. They tell you dessert is $8.95 and charge $13.95 when they serve (excluding service charge and tax). Same with coffee. Would not recommend. Everything is below average at best anyway. Would give them less than 1 star if I could.

The waiters personality was abysmal. His lack of brain cells is probably why he brought our entire table the wrong orders! Then he brought our bkfst to us cold! The french toast was disgusting I'd rather eat cardboard! He re-warmed my friends french toast in the microwave which he wouldn't eat after realizing. The cronut was the only edible item brought to the table seriously! It was my first time in laguna ! Of all the places I dined at over the wknd this place had the worst food and they charged so much money for it ridiculous! If you're in laguna do yourself a favor don't eat here just saying!
