Cescas Margarita and Grill

Taco Tuesday has $2 or $3 tacos! The Chica sized margarita is the smaller, but the Grande is totally worth the $3! Tinga is really good here and rarely seen in a lot of restaurants. The Mole was delicious and love that this place is looking after its city and participating in Shedd the straw!

Service is not there, we had to seat ourselves while the guys were just talking. Food was a joke, prices for the margaritas which you cannot taste the alcohol was ridiculous. I do not understand the positive reviews? Trust me this place is not worth it, if your looking for something similar.. try Octavio cantina.

I love this place! It's a bit small inside and most of the space is bar space. They have a lovely patio out back so definitely check it out if the weather is permitting. Their burrito is my favorite, especially if you make it suizo with cheese and green sauce.

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. I surely enjoyed the environment of this spot. Extraordinary place to take my family out for lunch.

First time eating here. Wonderful friendly staff even though we were definitely arriving toward the end of their evening. The food was delicious. Exactly as expected. I ordered the pork tamales and would recommend. Great texture and good spicy with the green salsa. Margaritas are on point. No nasty mix.

Order 34$ picture of margaritas, sub par. Could not taste any tequila only triple sec and whatever mix they use. If you are looking for a good marg go else where. Food was good.

Good food & drinks, gorgeous patio very clean! Only down side was Waiters were spread super thin doing 100 different things to the point where you have to get up and look for them or grab your drink from the bar. Turns into a self serve at that point.

I am giving this 3 stars, because the food and the drinks were fantastic. The bus staff deserves 10 stars. However it took almost 25 minutes for our waiter to come up to us. It was not busy and when he came up his exact words were, "you waiting for food or drinks?". No hello, no sorry for the wait, nothing. Throughout the night we barely saw him, event had to hunt him down to finally pay for our meals. Food was exceptional and I will be back, hoping for better service.

This place used to be great a couple of years ago but the quality has gone downhill. The tacos were super basic and not worth the cost. The margaritas were still good, maybe a bit more sugary than previously. The worst aspect was the service. Having one server for the whole patio is awful planning and setting her up to fail. It seems like they're pinching pennies here now and it shows.

The food and margaritas from here are amazing! Everything I have tried burritos, tacos, steak, chicken, etc have all been perfect. My new addiction from CMBG is the mole sauce. The enchiladas de mole is some of the best I have ever had and I want to have every night for dinner. If you haven't tried this place its well worth it. Also they have a great patio in the back which is nice for summer.

Has to be the best burrito I’ve had in a long time. Also, the server is adorable 😉

Frozen margs were some of the best I’ve ever had in Chicago.

This place could be so much more. Good drinks, great food, but only sometimes. So inconsistent. Service and management are very poor. This time around, my food had hair in it. They took it off the check but I was still hungry. They really need someone professional to run this place

I tried out the Cescas patio for the first time and it was very nice. It started to get a little bit chilly and the owner was kind enough to turn on the heaters for us outside to continue enjoying the patio. I had a taco dinner including the chicken with mole and it was very delicious. I highly recommend getting or trying the mole. I also had one of my favorite drinks a Michelada that was made perfectly.

Everything just took so long to get done. The food was small in portions which I would forgive if it was something epic, but I have paid less for far better and in larger quantity (and in this case, better quality).
