Cathay Palisades

My favorite place to order Chinese food and nothing else comes close. My go to and favorite dishes are the walnut shrimp and lemon chicken. The walnut shrimp is the perfect combination of creamy and crunchy, and the lemon sauce is amazing. I could probably drink it, but I think I'll refrain from doing that in public. The cream cheese ragoons also pair wonderfully with the sweet and sour sauce. If you like tart yogurt (another favorite of mine) then the new yougurt/soju beverages are for you. Always a great experience with great staff! The meal is always worth the drive.

This is the most authentic Chinese food you will find in Palisades/Malibu. The staff is lovely and they have dinner specials which makes it easy to dine here alone.

Bad service and soup is terrible for the price and by far the worst chicken I’ve ever had. Please avoid this place and do yourself a favor!

Wow....great little find by mistake! We have not had such GREAT Chinese food in FOREVER!! Honey walnut shrimp to die for! Everything taste so fresh. This is NO Panda Inn or Panda Express! It's like a family operated place with awesome service.

I've tried quite a few items here and everything is fantastic, and fresh! The restaurant is very clean, polite and friendly waitstaff, great portions and great prices! My favorite by far is the honey walnut shrimp, highly recommend giving it a try.

Cathay is great for take hole Choneae food. Great for the kids and a large home family meal! Keep it up guys!

Simple food preparation and atmosphere.

If you like Chinese food this is the place to go!! We drive from the San Fernando Valley for this authentic Chinese food. Coming here is like visiting family. The owner and his wait staff are very warm and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The food is ALWAYS fresh. We have been bringing family and friends here for over 15 years and it is always a great experience. Cathay Palisades ROCKS like a New Year's Party!!
