Cathay Inn

I was there for a meeting with a buffet lunch. The food was good and still nice and hot. Great room for meeting. Easy to find and lots of parking. Has been an established Chinese restaurant in Spokane for many years.

Its gross.Mongolian beef. The meat was BOILED with water chestnuts. ZERO SPICE!forgot 2 of the dishes on my family meal. The fried prawns had 4 times the amount of batter it needed.Service was awful. Had to ask for tea three times, that tasted burnt.But when it was time to pay, magically they were prompt.Worst Christmas Eve dinner

Good food and friendly staff. Prices are a little high but over all its a good place to eat!

We stopped for lunch. Great service. Very polite staff. Great food. We will definitely be there again.

Have been coming here for 20 years. The food here is great. Service wasn't the best today but wasn't terrible. Prices have gone up a lot in the new year so be prepared to pay $5 for a cup of soup.

I love this place. The staff are always friendly. The food is amazing with huge portions. The Cathay Inn has been one of my favorite places to eat in Spokane almost 40 years.

Just picked up to go order. Onions all over the rice which i asked for no onions. The almond chicken sauce spilled all over on the bag because its in those white containers not one wirh an actual lid. And the special chow main was so blan!! $70 of food getting tossed! Disgusting!

Not a fan of their food at all! The only reason I gave them two stars is because of the customer service! I feel I could have made better food out of a box.

Had an excellent meal here! Right off the bat, water and complimentary tea are brought out. The lunch special G and Dinner combo 1 are both the best sets of combos I have seen, yum! The egg flower soup was great and had a good mushroom flavor from the mushrooms. The hot mustard with BBQ pork and seeds was nasal burning good! The water was really clean tasting too like they use filtered water even for the ice cubes. The special chow mein was my favorite part of lunch combo G, with beef, pork and shrimp!

Thank you Cathay Inn for the price increase at this time. This was the 1st time ever that I paid $65.00 for a dinner for two. No wonder your staff would not give amount of order over the phone. I have been trying to hit different restaurants during this time to help out. Yours is off the list. Nor will I be returning after the covid is over.

This is my favorite non chain resturant in town. The prices are creeping up though and they need to make sure they don't price themselves out of the market... but I honestly love the food. The #1 is my favorite please don't ever change it. My great grandma used to come here 3 times a week her entire life. This place will always be important to me.

Was definitely a heafty meal for one, I really enjoyed the food along with the sauces, it seemed to have a lot of vinegar based sauces they did not taste like the smell so don't be iffy on the sauces they taste amazing! This was the: Combination Dinner 6- cathay special chow mein, almond fried chicken, fried prawns, bbq pork, fried riceThe staff was so far great I only delt with the gentleman with the poofy hair!! Didnt catch his name sadly but he's been there a while! PS. Went there during quarantine, I was only in there for for a couple minutes, very quick service I walked in and ordered! Overall satisfied it was good but I've had better!

My Wife and I formerly love eating at the Cathay Inn Chinese Restaurant and She ordered the Cathay Chow-mien and I ordered the Combination Noodle. In each of our meals the Beef was stale like old refrigerator food, pork the same. I had little shrimp that taste old from out of the Can. I lost respect for Cathays Food.

I was wishing for the combo fried rice and sweet and sour ribs. So yummy I had some for breakfast this morning.
