I took a toddler and a 91 year old senior and all three of us very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Prices were fair- we went to the early bird special. Everything on this buffet is good. Fresh salad bar and delicious desert bar! Even the presentation was good. Great staff. Will return and highly recommend!

It is an all-you-can-eat buffet and they have some really good food on the bars! Can't beat it for the price and all you can eat! Russell cook cubed prime rib to order included with the bar food! Really nice atmosphere what is lots of docos,boats, a ton of other restaurants and live music all around you! What a beautiful setting on the inlet from the ocean! So for a really great time you should visit this area when in Myrtle Beach! Have a great time we did!

They have a wonderful buffet on Sunday and Early Bird Special during the week with a great price. Cortney our bartender and MOD was "ON POINT " with menu knowledge and service. This is a great place to go for those time you're ready to EAT ! The view is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L ...BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Nice view, good buffet! Servers seem a little introverted for being on the Marsh Walk. Good overall experience.

Delicious grouper sandwich and she-crab bisque

My wife and I visited Catfish Johnny's and discovered great atmosphere, fantastic hospitality from our buffet Captain and our server! The food and ambiance was superb! If you're looking for a nice relaxed restaurant with outstanding fare (fresh Cod, Flounder, Mahi-Mahi and Catfish with Grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes and grits) with iced tea or an adult beverage then this is the place to visit. Fantastic food, service, and a great view at a very reasonable price!

The night here was pleasant. Southern hospitality with a smile. The buffet had a variety of foods to select from just to list a few...Fried fish, shrimp & clams. Baked Salmon, Pulled pork, BBQ Chicken, Baked Mac & cheese, Prime Rib included and much more.. Oh assorted dessert items too. This was our first time visiting Catfish Johnny's, glad we did. Definitely will return when we are South Carolina again.

Went early before buffet ordered seafood platter got 5 shrimp, 5 oysters and flounder about 1\8 in thick. Would not recommend

Nice and clean. No waiting, friendly staff but I would rather not have to ask for every single sauce including ketchup, salad dressing, tarter sauce or cocktail sauce. They brought everything we asked for but it's a bit inconvenient having to wait for the waitress for more sauce.

Service was prompt and friendly. Its virtually the same menu as J Peter's. Everything was fine but we weren't impressed.

Fish was good I definitely liked that however if you are in the area on vacation and happen to be from Maryland I’d stay away from the crab stuff as you will be highly disappointed. While we were their the buss boy cleaned a table beside us and threw ice and food particles on the floor which I had to laugh but at the same time I’d get either a better management over seeing or some employees that care about keeping the place clean. I’d still give it another try though.

Food was ok, buffet did not have alot of choices, but what they had was ok.

Buffet was really nice. Had a wide variety of seafood. The catfish bites were my favorite along with hush puppies that were really moist. I definitely recommend a chocolate chip cookie for dessert if you have room. The early bird price was really affordable. They also bring out prime rib and soup upon request. The restaurant itself is really clean and fresh. I also would recommend being so near the ocean that they move towards biodegradable straws as they already had plastic ones put in the drinks brought out.

Food was very good with great atmosphere! Would go again! Hushpuppies with berry butter were awesome!

I went with a group and we all had the buffet. It comes with prime rib cooked to order. It also has a salad bar and a dessert bar. if you go before 6 or maybe 6:30 it some half price so it's really a good deal. The food was delicious and the service was even better.
