This weekend we ventured to the beach to celebrate a friends birthday. Still hesitant to dine out in public, we made a group decision to order a very large group Togo order from Castaways..Whitney was an amazing help with informing us and guiding us with menu options good for a group. The manager was so nice and cooperative. When we arrived to pick up our order it was hot, fresh and ready to go. We even ordered their famous Pina Coladas they serve inside a real pineapple Togo. It’s our favorite tradition and we couldn’t leave Port A without getting one. Please go visit Castaways in you are in Port A! They are amazing!!!

Our food and drinks were good, we went back our last day at the beach. I loved the fried shrimp and fish. There was a nice crunch on both. We had our dog so we had to sit outside, of course. I suggest to the owner to add fans pointed at the outer part of the patio on the poles, like how they have it at the bar. It was not windy at all and very hot.

Absolutely amazing, Jay's Special with the yellowfin is perfect. Also ask for Steve when you go extremely knowledgeable and fun. Made for a great evening!

Best gumbo we've had outside of New Orleans! Peel and eat shrimp are served warm with a delicious butter emulsion! The staff are so friendly and attentive and it has a great atmosphere.

Food was really good. Enjoyed the atmosphere. you can bring in your fresh caught and cleaned fish for them to prepare for you!

UNBELIEVABLE! This restaurant is a classic example of “do NOT judge a book by its cover.” At first glance, expectations might be low. But this restaurant is hands down 5/5 stars. Service? Absolutely incredible. Steve was lively, sailing and energetic. He knew the whole menu from top to bottom and we didn’t want for a thing the whole night. Food? Let me tell you...I was absolutely stunned by the quality of food coming out of this place. Sushi quality fresh fish, baked, grilled, fried, STUFFED you name it. You will be blown away. Not a fish eater? Neither am I most days. I had a ribeye on my most recent visit and not only was it cooked to perfection...that steak was to die for. Highly recommended again and again. I will be coming back

Love the pet-friendly patio and the BEST Pina coladas ever! The food is impeccable and I love coming here whenever I am in the area. All of their seafood is tasty, and I love their signature Castaway spice mix. Don't forget to try the hush puppies!!
