Castaneda's Mexican Food

I ordered a carne asada burrito and the cashier even asked me if I wanted it with guacamole and salsa and I said yes only to end up receiving a shrimp burrito. The burrito itself wasn't terrible but not anything great either. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while especially since it is open 24hrs. I ha e to say the inside was a bit dirty, we tried sitting(changing tables) 3 diff times but they were all somewhat dirty. We sat at the least dirty table. I cant say they were messy because the staff was busy since it was around close to 11pm and very few patrons were I side. My wife had the chicken enchiladas and didn't like that they were chunks of chicken and not shredded as they would normally be. She also said it was a bit salty. I dont think we will be returning.

Tried their food a long time ago and didn’t like it. I decided to give it a second chance and it was absolutely disgusting. Carna asada fries were burned. This place is awful. It also took them forever to make my food.

The food is good but the flys. We dined in. What bad is they have bug zappers. I will have to eat there again. And there signs shows there open 24 hours 7 days a week. OMG.....

This place is pretty darn good! I love that they're 24 hours and close by my work . Friendly service, sometimes a little bit slow, but the food is super fresh!

Use to be my favorite go to for 24 hour Mexican food. Haven't been here for a couple years. Went before 10 pm and the rolled tacos were stale. Gross!

The first few times I went we’re amazing. This time by burrito was under portioned.

Good Food. Cashier recommended the San Felipe burrito. It did not disappoint. It was actually a good burrito. It's nice to have this type of homestyle Mexican food and more available 24 hours.

The cabeza tacos were perfectly seasoned & tender. Agua fresca was commercial, not as natural as I'd like, but still good. No fresh fruit in it.

The food was OK! The service was poor. They acted like they didn't really care if you were there or not. Not once did anyone walk by and ask if everything was ok. We ordered 2 ground beef burritos, with sour cream, cheese and lettuce. They were kind of blah, even the salsa couldn't help. They would have probably been better if they would have actually put some sour cream on them. It seemed odd that they left off the sour cream on both burritos. When we left, no one said, "thanks for coming!"

Great price for good Mexican food

I love this place. I haven't had everything on the menu but the chorizo breakfast burrito I off the chain. Keep up the great food.

First time here and it was good. Had the menudo it was good.

They've lost their touch. It used to be the best place 2 -3yrs ago. They take forever and the quality of food went from 10 to 6. We only go there on late nights because it's open. El Ranchito taco shop up the street is Way better quality, flavor and service.
