Carroll's Kitchen

This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast or lunch. The food is great and there are tons of options. The ladies that work there are all so nice and I LOVE the meaning behind this restaurant. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. I just wish they were open on the weekends too!!

Great people, smiling faces, amazing mission. ALSO I love that they offer VEGAN options!!! Their Vegan Bacon Cheeseburger is TO DIE FOR. <3

We were expecting to sit down and eat, but it was takeout only. The kaviches were yummy!

The tuna melt is epochal, revelatory, and without peer. Shorty is among the most talented restaurant professionals in the area. Don’t forget about breakfast. Get kolaches for the team and be the hero of the meeting!

I am 3 bites in and already writing a review. EXCELLENT! I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for under $6, and it is perfection. It didn't look like much, but the bread is delicious and hearty, and everything inside is perfectly portioned. A wonderful little corner spot in Raleigh.

I'm always looking for an excuse to swing by Carroll's Kitchen during the workday. Great food and a great cause. I go for breakfast sandwiches and any sweet kolache.

Had the best Tuna Melt and the Best tomato soup I've ever had today and I consider myself the connoisseur of tuna melts! And it's for a great cause to benefit homeless women. Kill 2 birds - great lunch and giving back - with one stone!

Try the apple sauce!

I just read about the opening last night on Triangle Foodie News, and I could not wait to try it! The ladies were sweet! Let me sample several of their breakfast items, and I was completely hooked! The kolche is amazing, and supporting them is supporting a good cause, homeless women.*I should add that there is no sitting inside. It is a "grab n go" style, but still worth it.

If this place ever decides to move; (like some of my favorite food places did in downtown Raleigh) I will write whomever raised their rent a piece of my mind...Everyday. . .along with my all my co-workers and friends. . .This place should be a landmark. And I love it.

The best everything you'll ever have in your life.

I work in downtown and this is one of my go-to spots to grab a quick lunch. I love the food and the ladies who work there are fantastic! The only downside is that it is a bit pricey. Hopefully in the future they'll be able to provide more food options or a rotating menu, so those of us who get lunch regularly don't have to eat the same thing every time :)

The cream cheese kolache was out of this world. The peanut butter and jelly kolache delicious as well. Coffee was super. I wish they would open one of these in Asheville so I could have them more often.

My first time (won't be my last) and the baked potato with bacon, cheese and sour cream is so delicious!!! Great food and great service!!

Tried this in the Morgan Street Food Hall. The Tuna Melt was amazing and the Texas Caviar was fabulous as well. The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely eat here again and recommend to all my friends.
