Carrabba's Italian Grill

Haven't been to a Carrabba's in several years and the first time to this one. We went for a late lunch and had the place pretty much to ourselves. I don't remember Carrabba's being so open and bright, but this place was. Music was the perfect level to be heard, but let you talk across your table. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be visiting again.

I like the food. Not authentic Italian but good enough. I had online order and didnt know that you cannot take advantage of some specials now if you order online. The policy has changed. Disappointed, but the owner handled it appropriately. I like the restaurant and will visit again.

My only complaint was the wait for a Monday night. When we got there, there were two open tables in the bar and 14 open tables in the restaurant with a 20-minute wait. Not going to lie, we almost left. Once we sat, our server was outstanding. I can't remember the young lady's name, but she had the far side of the bar area. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Management just needs to get a handle on proper staffing levels for servers, and this would have been five stars.

Awful service! This was my first time going to Carrabas at this location and it will be my LAST! I place an online order at 4:42, and received an email that it would be ready in 22 min. I arrived to the restaurant at 5:02, and someone came out and I gave them my name. I did not receive my food until 5:32. I waited an additional 30min. I spoke to the manager and he told me they were waiting on the shrimp for my Caesar salad, and gave me 2 free desert coupons with the purchase of an entrée. I get home and open my bag, and I have my lasagna and shrimp ceaser salad but only had 5 pieces of shrimp for the salad. I waited all that time for 5 pieces of shrimp and cold lasagna. I don't believe it, and won't be going back.

Last night a group of 10 of us went to the wine dinner in Pasadena. We had made a reservation on line as we have been doing for over a year. When we arrived the largest table that was set up was for only 6. We asked to make a table for 10 and we told this could not be done. The female manager intervened and said she has no information of the on line reservations. We said this is the way we have reserved our space for a year and have had no difficulty. After a long discussion the manager was reluctant to but willing to move tables “closer”. We had to push them together ourselves. Each course of food was cold and unbeatable. There was no interest to correct this. Wine was not served at the same time the courses were. The bill took one hour to sort out. Several of us had gifts cards and were not allowed to use them together. This will be the last time this group of 10 goes to a wine dinner at Pasadena again! Huge loss of business!
