Carolina Ale House- Winston Salem

We just finished eating here and could honestly rant and rave forever about how great our experience was. Our server Rod was awesome...very professional, efficient, and kind. He stayed on top of everything we needed, often before we even asked for anything. The food was on point and everything tasted really good. I wish we lived in the area, because this would be our favorite go-to place. Just a really really good experience. Highly recommend this location!

I absolutely love this place! The General manager Pricilla is so helpful and polite and amazing in helping me plan out my business lunches. And Lori the bartender is the most proficient and polite bartender I have ever encountered!! I would highly recommend for and business owner or person to visit this establishment!! Amazing time and food always!!

Was told 30 min wait when we walked in but 3/4s of the tables were empty and people were walking out because of this. When we got our table service and food were good.

The food is really good. I've had several different items across different tastes and I feel the ale house covers them all pretty well. I definitely recommend anything here.

Haven't been here since January. Things have changed!! New menu! Food was really good. We ordered the beer battered cheese curds...amazing! Beer good and cold!! Service was very good, ( thank you Hillary). Looking forward to coming back for more football!*** since this review, today is 10/24/18.We have been back 3 times. It has been AMAZING each time. I believe its the new normal and I am so excited. The servers have been extraordinarily attentive. ( Tevin, Sean and another young man) are a customers dream, excellent training!! We had the wings and Brisket Quesadillas along with popcorn chicken. Food was a party in your mouth with flavor, texture and taste! I'm not a drinker...but the beer was so dam cold I think I drank my husbands first one. *****IMPRESSIVE*****

CAH is always a hit or miss. Must depend on the day. But either it's great or it's terrible, and that goes for every one that I have been to.

First timers but the appetizers and cocktails were very good and the craft beers were very good and a good selection.

We LOVE the French onion soup! Have to order it right away because it takes time to cool. The salads we had with them were mediocre, but I don’t think people go to an ale house to have a healthy salad. The fish and chips we’ve had before is amazing.

Good atmosphere and service. They have a very extensive beer selection...as they should. Located right next to the mall

Joshua Edwards always goes above and beyond for me and my wife anytime he's our sever I absolutely love this place

I enjoyed friendly service at the bar while chatting with two bartenders. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. The 🍟 fries were AMAZING! The cheeseburger was pretty tasty. The stout beer 🍺 was fantastic. I have been to a couple Carolina Ale Houses and been happily satisfied each time.

Good food and really good atmosphere. Service was good. Fare prices.

The food is okay as it’s really nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to bar and grill food. The have a decent selection of drinks on tap including some local beers.

It was really slow when we went but the food and drinks were really good. Waitress was nice and very attentive. I've been several times to this location and it's always been great.

There is one bartender there that recognizes me every time I come in. I do not live near Winston Salem, Im there for business at least once a month. She remembers the type of drinks me and my husband likes and that is impressive😊😊😊
