No frills restaurant with reasonably priced, great Mexican food

I absolutely love the taco salad. It is so delicious. This is the best Mexican food downtown. I love to come here whenever I am in downtown Detroit.

Food is hit or miss - usually good but sometimes not. Recommend a bowl! Staff is nice and get food out fairly quickly

Incredibly delicious breakfast burrito , I want to try everything here, the customer service is fantastic too. All you can put on sauce buffet.

I enjoyed eating my lunch here. I got a 3 chicken taco combo. It was pretty good. The salsa could be a little more chunky in my opinion. I usually don't like Mexican rice and beans but these rice and beans were actually DELICIOUS. Probably the best I've had in awhile. Pretty fast during lunch hour. However,management and staff doesn't seem to get along well.

Catering: Phenomenal & Amazing Service!I frequently utilize Carnival Fresh for company lunches, and Danny, Joe, and their team is seriously on top of the ball when it comes to customer service and delicious food! People in my office love the nacho and burrito bar, and always line up early when we order from here.

I stopped here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the taco combo with 3 different tacos. The Carne Asada was phenomenal as was the Chorizo. The Carnitas Roja was the only one that disappointed. Everything was fresh, fantastic beans and salsas. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the bland carnitas. I've heard not so great reviews, but I'll be back!

Great menu with a nice salsa bar. A full plate lunch is in the higher price range but quality and quantity make up for it. Plenty of seating and fast friendly service. The owners work behind the counter serving customers and it shows. The spicy pork chimichanga is a must try.

Oh I love this place for quick Mexican cuisine on the go! Would like to see a reduced price on options without meat. Beans have to be cheaper than beef. Guacamole is great here, worth the price. Maybe consider adding a dairy-free cheese option to the menu. Good place for cheap Mexican food downtown. Does get busy during the weekday lunch hours but service was very quick, one of my favorite places because it is so cheap when most places downtown are charging a ton for lunches now. Close to Campus Martius.

This place is great. The street tacos are really good. There salsa bar is awesome too! Great place to have a great tasting, light, satisfying meal! I'm coming back...soon.
