Carmines Chianti Cow Restaurant

Use to like this place. We have been going there for Christmas Eve for the past 4 years. This will be our last year. We ordered out and it took me 3 trips back to get my order straight. After the second time they gave me a $25.00 gift card. I would of paid a extra $25.00 to have my Christmas Eve dinner. After paying $107 for 4 dinners and everyone eating at different times, I throw my steak out because running around it was cold and everyone else ate.

Food was disappointing. Tried the crab stuffed sole and it smelled spoiled so we had to send it back. The waiter was patient and took the food back. We then ordered the pulled pork appetizer instead, very bland and dry. The only good thing was the beer, the French onion soup and the waiter's patience.

We waited 1.5 hrs for the worst food ever. A rare steak came out over well done, the Eggplant parm was dry, salty and stale. Our drinks were never refilled which sucks because the food was more than salty, it was inedible. My lips are burning. There is nothing.good here and we will not.return.

Probably the worst imitation of a restaurant I've ever had the misfortune of stepping into. Their online menu is not what they actually serve. Food is poorly done and served cold.I wouldn't take my dog there to eat. Please close it down.

Great food and atmosphere!

The inside is not really fancy with a county theme. The food is great. I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. Prices are reasonable.

We had an intimate dining experience. I wouldn't take company here, just a romantic get-together in the Chianti Cow.The menu is diverse, and the cooking combines familiar but fresh ingredients in unusual and interesting ways. For instance, the lobster ravioli was definitely lobster-forward as it should be, but the dough contained cinnamon, a stimulating pairing of two familiar flavors. Further, the chef layers these novel combinations in any single dish, using a variety of scratch sauces. Lots of love in this cooking.Can't wait to go back, especially during harvest season. I have a feeling we would not have dined there if we hadn't gotten there early without a reservation on a Saturday night. Next time I'll call ahead.Only suggestion I have is that the full-bodied espresso should be served with a biscuit and lemon peel.

I got sick

Seen the Restaurant Impossible episode with Robert Irvine and was intrigued to check it out..Ate the Lamb shank entree and brussel sprouts appetizer, had a Great dinner with my Wife during Coronvirisus insanity.. Restaurant was clean accommodating and service was good Food was excellent,must check it out!

Paella disaster. It did not taste at all how it should and they served it as a SOUP! At least be honest in serving non-paella soup. The staff couldn't even pronounce the name of the dish. I also felt like they were rushing me out. Every 10 seconds, someone interrupting my meal, 4 different people! They pestered me about whether I would order dessert when I want even halfway through my meal. Overall a very uncomfortable and awkward experience. In general, Italian restaurants should avoid selling Spanish dishes they can't even cook.

Amazing atmosphere. Worth the drive from NYC.

One of my favorite restaurants, we frequent as often as we can! The specials are all delicious, I can never decide which one to order!
