Absolutely amazing, completely authentic Central and South America food! The owner and staff were all very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

And I heard that the waitresses do not have a high salary, they are nothing but tips and many people leave nothing ..

Overall, it was an alright choice. We did not enjoy the free chips and salsa. My husband asked for water and got tap (I know, I know...1st world problem, but it mattered to us). It should have at least been filtered. The authentic Mexican tacos were delicious, as was the rice. The beans were...different. My 15 year old daughter loved them and to me they weren't nasty...just different. My 8 year old loved the cheese quesadilla.

I must be spoiled by west coast Mexican restaurants. The chicken chimi I had saved the rating from getting a 2 star review. Chips and sauce, rather than salsa. Chips were a bit stale as well. If I lived in the area, I'd look elsewhere quite frankly. Not bad if you MUST have a sit down Mexican meal...

Miss Carmen is the owner and an amazing person. I absolutely loved my time here, the food, and the service. This place is a hidden gem in this area and deserves more praise and attention. Best pupusas in town!
