Sooo good! Those fritters are amazing!!! I wish the food was a little more authentic to Jamaican cuisine and not more on the Americanized side, but it was still good. They could also use more options for entrees. The waitress was a little rude and we were afraid to tell her that we didn't like our drinks but other than her being rude...we had a great time. BUT this place does not allow you to pick up/take-out and they do not deliver, though they have their menus on Uber Eats and Door Dash! It is really ridiculous. Why do we have to be forced to dine-in? The seating is already limited. These are two streams of income that they are missing out on. I understand no delivery, but I can't pick up either? That is really silly.

I wanted to try this restaurant, I was in the area and figured I'll get some take out. I walked in and saw a section that is used for take out, but it was empty. I continued in and got to the bar which Is where take out orders are placed. The staff were very polite and helpful.After I ordered, I sat down and waited for the food to be made, it took a bit of time but it was well worth it. My order was brought to me in a white bag and I was thanked with a smile. I would recommend for anyone thinking of trying Caribbean soul.

The place is superb and spacious, the meals was yummy and the prices were very fair. quick, effective service and very affable staff members. I recommend this place.

Food was great. Ordered the pineapple salmon, mashed potatoes, and veggies. The only issue was the space. It's very small so brunch ends up being a long wait, regardless of a reservation. Manager accommodated us and allowed us to eat at the bar, even though we preferred a table. The wait was so long we just decided to eat upstairs. Other than that, I have no other complaints. The drinks were so good. The rum punch is strong. I suggest taking a cab there!

Positive vybz here. Very romantic comfortable and exciting atmosphere. The food was flavored with a very unique and genuine Caribbean taste. 5 stars.

Today we just grab some dinner. The service was adequate. Our server was very attentive to us. We order some appetizers(Cod Fish fritters & Salmon Cakes) Both were delicious. For Dinner I had the Pasta with chicken and shrimp. And my Date had the Curry shrimp with vegetables and 2 scoops of mashed potatoes. My dish was like warm at best. Some parts of the pasta was cold like if they took it out the fridge. My days curry shrimp looked very appetizing. And was decorated with a purple flower. All in all the place was very clean and it seemed it was a slow night. We didnt go to the roof top lounge this time, but the past times I've went the vibes were nice, drinks were on point and the music was entertaining.

The rum punch was out of this world! For my entree, I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas. It was delicious! The oxtail was flavorful and tender. The rice and peas were moist and tasty. I enjoyed the meal as well as the ambiance. The staff was great and very accommodating.

First time trying this place. The vibe was nice good music live belly dancing nice place to chill with your girlfriend. The only drink I had that night was the rum punch and it was amazing. Now I have the Twin Lobster tails. It was good but a bit over cook however over all it’s a nice restaurant

I visited Caribbean Soul Rooftop on a Sunday and enjoyed a delicious meal while listening to one of Queens favorite bands. The Platinum One Band. Great place to be on a Sunday evening.

Good food and great wait staff. Place is clean and cozy. Had their curried goat and oxtail. Both were delicious.

Waited almost an hour for my entree. Never even got my appetizer. The waiters were busy serving the “larger” table, I guess if you wanna be served you have to bring a whole party crew with you. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic scene. The music is loud, people are talking and laughing even louder, you can barely hear a word the waiter is saying. That being said the food was okay, definitely not worth waiting an hour for. I would never return to this place.

Went on a Saturday night and it was packed, if you go, be prepared to wait for a table. The service was friendly and the vibe was cool and laid back. The food was tasty and the drinks were strong. We didn’t get a chance to check out the rooftop lounge, but it’s definitely worth a second trip to check out their weekday happy hour specials.

We had an amazing experience in this restaurant. We enjoyed the first-rate atmosphere and the meals. The staff were super welcoming. I am happy we eventually decided to eat here.

Great place. If you're fan of Caribbean, food this place is amazing. The food is wonderful! Rum Punch is excellent. Prices are good. Definitely a place to hangout either for dates or with friends and family.
