Cargo Coffee in the Constellation Bldg

I love the atmosphere of this coffee shop and the workers are always friendly. Great place!

It used to be a great place to go and get work done or chat with friends over some good food and drink, but then bands and sing a long groups came in nearly every night and make it impossible to hear what the people at your table are saying. It’s a great place to go during the day before these groups show up. I think this place would be better served if they stuck to being a coffee shop and not a nightly live music venue.

Pretty good coffee and a convenient location. I was able to find a parking spot nearby. The shop itself has a feel of an industrial building with a bit of organic design

Good drive thru. Good coffee

Always a pleasant experience when we go here. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Perfect mocha every time. Food is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Plenty of seating. Also nice they have a drive thru for whenever we don’t want to deal with near downtown parking or just want to get it to go.

Coffee is good, though nothing special, location is nice. Not a huge fan of the apartment buildings above it, but the interior is very nice. Only complaint would be street parking, plus the fact that Johnson Public House serves better coffee and it's right around the corner.

The avocado toast is the best

I have been to this coffee location numerous times. The place is consistently good. From their expresso to the food that they have. To me great friendly staff that says hi and goodbye to you every time you come in. The place is extremely clean as well as the bathrooms and a very friendly atmosphere. Laptop friendly and lots of charging stations.

I love the later hours, the layout, the quiet tables for working or having personal conversations, the chai...The only thing I don't like is that some of the tables (in the quieter areas) have what essentially feels like a spotlight beaming down on you. Also, they could improve the bakery selection a little bit.

I have driven past Cargo Coffee many times and thought I should stop in and try it the next time I’m in Madison. I finally did about a month ago and was not disappointed! The workers, coffee, and cookies have all been excellent! It is my new ‘go to’ place for coffee when I’m in Madison.

Great coffee, but the music can be too loud sometimes.

Great cafe! We had a sausage and egg croissant, pumpkin spice scone, coffee, and apple cider. They were all very good. There is a cool balcony/catwalk area which is great for people watching. Also there is outside seating. The only thing I would have liked is a small nook with children's stuff, but I understand why they don't have that because it seems like like a really popular study location.
