Carbon Grill

Carbon Grill really has a special place in my heart. For $30 you can spend 1:30hrs cooking and eating whatever you’d like off the menu. The meats and seafood are all good quality. For $6 you can get a beaker of questionable sake, warm or cold. The waiters are friendly and efficient; they can predict when you’re needing to order and meet you right when you pick up the menu. The wait can be LONG (the longest we’ve waited is 1:15hrs at the bar). Come hungry!

Outstanding place for delicious korean bbq. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Prices were good for how much you get.

My first experience with Korean BBQ and it was great! Granted I suck at cooking, but it was a fun experience and there was a good variety of meat and sides.Note that they don't have a two person minimum like the other BBQ places.

Food was amazing. This was my second time. Came for a winners lunch with my boss and then came with friends. It was so good. Definitely worth also getting a glass of wine. Make sure you aren't planning on going out after as the smell of BBQ might stick to your clothesWe ordered pretty much all the meat. The shrimp was my least favorite. The calamari steak was amazing, and all the types of ribs. They also have really good kimchi probably one of the best in the city. The rice papers and veggies were fresh. Can't wait to come back again.

Love the lack of smoke at this KBBQ (no watery eyes)! Very worth any wait time you might have! Delicious cuts of meat, I enjoyed the marinated boneless short rib and brisket the most. Our server was amazing and the atmosphere is modern.

Good Korean bbq. All you can eat. The meats are flavorful. Most places no longer offer short ribs or limit, no such thing here. No reservations and it fills up fast.

Great service. Fresh vegetables and wide selection. Meat was decent, but the non-marinated short ribs were entirely unseasoned, while the beef tongue was overly inundated with black pepper. However, if you get there at opening, the scallops are delicious.

Hands down, the best Korean bbq spot in SF. Love the staff and bartenders. Always fast, friendly, and helpful. Their strawberry soju is incredible. I love that they incorporate scallops of the half shell and whole skewered shrimp. Its my favorite to order. Their meats are always fresh and yummy. Also they have good kimchee and nice big tables to eat at. & hooks to hang your coat and purse on.

Came here for dinner with friends on a Monday. Here's the breakdown:-Friendly staff seated us right away-Confused as we had a host seat us and take drink order but received only one drink and reordered with waitress(es?). -Two waitresses helped us at any given moment, which was a little confusing but did get meat faster.-Prices are very reasonable for all you can eat-Great meat choices with great flavor-Good beer and soju menu-Atmosphere is hip and young while inviting-Needs stronger exhaust fans or to be turned up, the place is a bit more smoky than normal when you walk in.-Cool menu for sides but you don't get the usual smorgasbord of ban chan.-The creamy sauce makes the pork belly even better!Overall, great spot and a lot of meat. Don't dress too nice because you will smell a bit like smoke after!

Concept is good, but the all the food it's very sweet.

Pretty good kbbq spot, but the variety compared to some other places I've been is a bit lacking. The ventilation was okay, I got blasted by smoke for the first half of our cook

By far THE best Korean bbq I've ever been to. Chicago, NY, LA, they all come short, specially with the service.

Exceptional place to get something when in a rush. Their customer service is swift, pricing is fair, good vibes. I highly recommend this place
