I am a new huge fan of Captain Nemo's! I love their minestrone soup, their turkey chili and the lite turkey sub! Great local old school sandwich shop which I love, with the awesome old school neighborhood service that you grow to enjoy and look forward to with each visit. And I adore the child play area ðŸ˜classic Chicago all the way!

Ok so I’ve been living in Rogers park for almost a year now & Im just now discovering this hidden GEM. I love a good turkey sandwich, & that’s exactly what they gave me!! That secret sauce they have is a must!!! I’m buying a bottle of it next time. I recommend putting it into a sauce cup & dipping it...thank me later!! I’m going back tonight loll!

Have treated myself to nemo's for decades. First was in rogers park with original founding owners. Now Lakeview. Their barley soup is tha BOMB!!! Everything is marvelous.

This is my gold standard in subs. Love them. All the staff is very nice and you can customize. Delicious and fresh. And the bread is the best. Soup is wonderful! On my way there right now

Original location of one of Chicago's very own sub shops. Maybe a dollar more than subway or potbellys - and worth it!Toppings include pineapples, radishes, mustard, hard-boiled eggs, secret sauce, turkey, ham, bologna, volpi genoa salami, liverwurst, mortadella, swiss, american, and provolone. And don't forget the secret sauce! The soups are amazing and homemade. Friendly staff.
