Capri Italian Bakery

We are a family owned and operated retail bakery. In 1930 our grandfather, Hugo Imperi opened Roma Bakery in Detroit serving all the locals with their daily bread. His daughter Virginia kept tradition going with the opening of Capri Bakery adding products and growing into an icon of Dearborn throughout the 80's and 90's. Her son, John and his wife Ronda with their son, Caleb continue to make everything from scratch and by hand everyday. Our loyal customers have been "coming here" forever. We've gained popularity for our real authentic good food offered to you for a very modest price. The breads we make are made from one type of dough, shaped into a variety of sizes and textures. This same dough is used to make our famous pepperoni rolls and delicious pizza. It is a taste you will crave once you've tried it. Cookies and pastries along with family recipe Cannoli will entice you to indulge. Our store is warm and friendly with seating inside and outside to sit and enjoy!
