Great food, amazing owner and friendly staff. I don't get in as often as I used to, but have been coming here for years and intend to continue. They have accomdated kid and adult parties, date nights and off the cuff dinners with aplumb. ¡Salud!

Have been eating at this place for more almost two decades now. I live in Asia these days but always make the extra effort to stop at the Cantina for a quick meal every time I’m in the Boston area. I remember when it was just a hole in the wall taqueria and now it’s a full blown restaurant (after having annexed the Irish pub next to it). During this visit, I was pleasantly surprised to see the husband and wife owners were still running the kitchen and making sure that each dish was well cooked and presented - truly authentic Mexican. My favorite is the chorizo from the wife-owner’s home town of Potosinas. My wife always asks for the carne asada. We have already resolved to return on our next visit to Boston.

We were looking for a Boston area authentic Mexican restaurant and this place did not disappoint! WOW — the enchiladas are to die for! The Margaritas are so spot-on. Great service. Great ambiance. We’ll be back, for sure!
