The latte I had was pretty good, and so was the chicken panini. The atmosphere is really cool, it seems like a nice place to hang out. I wish there was an actual couch. Also, the iced coffee my girlfriend got was a bit lackluster. A good cold brewed option would be nice.

As far as "independent", non-chain coffee holes go, this is the best Birmingham has to offer it's "hamians".TWO LOCATIONS to enjoy! Railroad Park / Region's Field AND Lakeview/Pepper Place. I prefer the Lakeview location, but you'll find the same excellent level of food/service at either location. Try their crepes at either location. While not true "gourmet", definitely acceptable coffee shop pie hole stuffing!During the summer months, the Lakeview location is "the" place to relax and chill during the Saturday mornings only, Pepper Place Farmers Market event, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Enjoyed our business meeting at the cafe last night. The coffee was great too.

Best lattes in Birmingham (personal favorite is the Russian blue). Would reccomend the breakfast bowl, comes with sausage, egg, cheese, and grits. And the grits are on point.

Oh, this place! It's my favorite. Their gluten free chocolate chip pumpkin muffin is delicious! I usually get a latte...the Havana Brown is my most favorite, but today I tried the White Chocolate Pumpkin latte and it was so tasty!! No strong pumpkin spice. Just right!

A great place to get a quality cup of coffee. Wonderfully decorated interior and a good working or studying environment.

Great coffee place and workspace in the 'Ham. Later in the day, an easy place to work and relax after a long day. Highly recommended, especially if you're frequenting the Pepper Place district

Not very many cats. More of a The Business People Coffeehouse. Still good tho. Coffee wasn't burnt which is neat

The saturday special crepes are amazing and the abyssinian is pretty good too. Our tiny 2 year old food critic loves the pop tarts.

Cute little coffee shop adjacent to the Railroad Park. Baristas were friendly and I appreciate that they offer non-dairy and gluten-free options. Indoor and outdoor seating available or get it to go and stroll the park while you sip!****Updated to add that their gluten-free muffins are awesome! So good!

We look forward to the Peppers Farmers Market every summer in Birmingham! It wouldn’t be the same without a relaxing stop at The Red Cat Coffeehouse! Their coffee is some of the best in the city! Highly recommend!!
