Bon. A really nice French patisserie in Capitol Park in downtown Detroit. I first visited in early February and the fresh cut flowers were like spring had come early. The bread and the pastries are so good that you will regret ever hearing the word keto. I had a savory treat and my wife a sweet, she had coffee and I had tea. It doesn't matter what you order, it's a delight. Service and people and atmosphere are all five stars.

The food and drinks here are wonderful, but sadly the service is rude and abrasive. I work in the service industry and never would I directly tell a table that they need to leave and give up their seats for someone else. Even if a guest is finished with their meal or drink, regardless of how busy it is. I was appalled that they dare ask me to leave. Not going back.

I have not seen so many pastries of this quality in one place anywhere in Metro Detroit. You must stop in and see this collection if you are a food connoisseur. There is a lovely patio outside to enjoy your confectionery as well. If you are dining in downtown Detroit, be sure to save room for dessert and take your guests to Cannelle after dinner. You'll be glad you did!
