Best rib eye sandwich! Big portions of good food. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you know how much he appreciates your business. My go to place in Utica.

This place has it ALL! Very, very friendly and responsive service filled with good humor and warmth. All the food is beyond phenomenal from homemade barchips to fish to chicken strips, hearty hamburgers and gourmet salads and more! My kids and all the cousins even declare they have the best Sprite! The bar and dining room are clean and warm and beautifully designed! It has the small town feel with the big city style and variety! You will never be disappointed. We are local and this is our default place to eat! We love Rocky the-the sweetest bar dog there is!l

Had lunch here after hiking Starved Rock. Sat at the bar, and bartender was great. Suggested their prime rib, which was amazing. Grilled onions and mushrooms, Au jus, homemade chips and a local IPA. Perfection.

What a find! Friendly staff, great food, perhaps the best Bloody Mary ever! Definitely try the Reuben. Can't wait to return.

Great food and service, we stopped there after a day long of hiking. We had the, rib eye steak sandwich, the chicken oscar, the salmon, and the chicken parmesan.. All was great, the owner seems to be a great guy. We will definitely stop there again when in the area.

I don't usually review restaurants, but our visit to Starved Rock was topped by a fantastic meal at Canal Port. My wife had the salmon and I had the ruben. Both of our dishes exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds, in both flavor and quantity. We're only in the area once a year, but we're looking forward to coming back. Keep up the excellent work!

Crab cake was delicious. Kinda expensive if you get seafood. But very friendly service and the bartenders wear pajama pants which is good. I liked the laid back atmosphere. Very easy to find right on the main strip of the very picturesque town.

Our service was great. I had a nice sized ribeye steak, which was awesome. I'd recommend it for a nice dinner. It's a little more expensive than most places, but just a little.

Very nice atmosphere, though as a Cubs fan a bit too much White Sox memorabilia:). Food was excellent. I had potato soup which was excellent. For my main course, I ordered the reuben sandwich. It was truly one of the best reubens I have ever had, which I didn't expect in a town as small as Utica. The fries were slightly seasoned and excellent. My wife had a veggie burger and said that was excellent as well. Service was good and friendly. Highly recommended.
