Thanks to a recommendation from a new friend Grant and I ate at Calypso Mama and enjoyed it very much! Both the curry chicken roti and goat roti were delicious. Grant also gave the banana soda a thumbs up. We'll definitely be back with Hubs.

Went today with my wife. I had the oxtail and she had the chicken curry each with the potatoes and roti. It was great, just like I remember them tasting when I lived in Trinidad. I will return.

Good vibes, great food and friendly staff!As soon as you open your car door, you know.. it's going to be good! The smell of delicious food awaits inside!Walking into Calypso Mama, you are welcomed by a very clean dining room with kid friendly music playing. The colors are vibrant and really appealing and coordinated. The stereo keeps the mood alive as well.After ordering, you can help yourself to the drink cooler and wait for the meal to come out. There is a selection of fruity drinks not often seen in normal venues of America. These are the good stuff of drinks.The food is cooked fresh and made to order. When it comes out, it's surprisingly large portion and oh-so delicious!!To judge the made to order freshness, you'll either need to take my word for it or better, try it yourself.I'll be back to try the rest of the menu, soon! - Peppa Shrimp Spicy 10/10 - Jerk Chicken 10/10The staff are very helpful and kid-friendly!

The food was amazing!!!! It will definitely be worth your while. I had the curry shrimp with rice and peas, cabbage and stewed curry potatoes.

Had the curry goat and the spicy shrimp, wanted jerk chicken but their business model is always fresh. The shimp was awesome, I added hot sauce and pepper to the goat.

My first visit everything was good, however after that it seemed like they never have anything ready. I’ve gone back three times since then and food was never ready. If you don’t open till 12, please explain why certain items such as oxtails are never ready. It’s ALWAYS 45 minutes. This must be a sign

Seen the stats and comments. First time going, I must say my my my....im typing this on a full, disgusted and satisfied stomach. Tried the chicken curry for starters, couldnt wait for the ox tails due to lunch time constraint. Will be going back. That chicken curry was on point. The restaurant was clean, the man behind the counter was very friendly, and the food was delicious! Very authentic and we were sampling each other's plates. Maybe a more detailed menu is all I could find, I got more on door dash but that didn't stop a thing! I'm ordering from there again today when I get to work.
