Calle Tacos and Lounge

This place was bumping when we got there. Grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered some great grub. Tacos were good, must save room for churros!!

Terrible Service and mediocre tacos. Ventured in here on a Tuesday for some drinks and tacos and had to wait around 30 minutes until even being brought a drink and weren't given chips and salsa until we asked another waitress 45 minutes into being there. I don't know if the restaurant was short-staffed or what but it seemed that they had enough waitresses working. Maybe it was just our server? Either way it was a terrible experience. Something maybe the food could make up for? No. The tacos came out and were very mediocre. The chicken ones had no flavor or seasoning on them and the ground beef ones were so greasy they were dripping. Would rather go to Andy's and get their tacos for 40 cents a piece.

I wandered in to get a beer while I wait for my sushi and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and was greeted warmly by Sierra and Tammy. I was impressed by the beers they had on tap and their tequila selection. The prices were very reasonable. Went in a second time to try the food. Eric was excellent. You get great portions, the salsa is chunky and fresh, and I love the BYO taco menu. My only drawbacks: they only have their house made chips which are great, but they aren't regular tortilla chips. They are filling on their own. Also, their hot sauce selection is limited but that might be me being petty. Overall: Atmosphere:***** Service:***** Food:**** Drinks:***** Toledo Potholes:*
