California Pizza Kitchen

This was my first visit to a CPK since I relocated Fresno. I came for here for lunch with a friend from work, and the restaurant was just a little more than half full. What I've always liked about other California Pizza Kitchen locations is the fact that they serve not only classic pasta and pizza options, but a several unique pizza variations as well.

I've tried many different items on their menu; pizza, pasta, steak, soups, salads, etc. The pizzas and pastas are in the 3.5 to 4 star range. The soups and salads are a 3. The pastas are a solid 3. I had a rib eye steak most recently. It was so trimmed and lean that even at mid rare it was dry and lacking flavor. A 2 at best. I wished I had taken a photo of it for comparison purposes. The photo I have added is CPK's photo. If it had looked like that, I'm sure it would have tasted better. The Service at this location was pretty good. We had two servers helping us. One was very good, however the other, while having a pleasant demeanor, and wanting to do a good job, she just couldn't figure out what she was doing. I would not choose to dine at CPK personally. I only go when the majority chooses to go. In this case, I was out voted 3 to 1. :)

Food 8 Service 9 Atmosphere 8.5 So so pizza, had the asada. I should try a different crust the standard was too heavy, possibly gluten. I had a strawberry peach cooler and it was amazing. The tequila fettuccini looked good on the menu. I'll be back to try other things.

The food was good and the service was as well. The new menu selection is actually pretty diverse and I was happy with it. While the food was good, it isn't great. The portions are pretty small and the seasoning was lacking a bit. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the restaurant was very clean. A great place to meet up with friends for lunch or dinner.

It's always good when we go there especially the salads are to die for and the manager Kyle he was great especially to my roommate steve

Waitress was unfriendly so glad someone else came to take over. Food was just okay. Not impressed. It was not price efficient either.

We love this place, always clean, service is always nice, but we have Celiac and they don't offer much for combos or deals with the cauliflower crusts. The cauliflower crusts here are out of this world though so we always end up coming back.

Food is ordered and 30 minutes later people are not eating. Give me a break you have no wait and 1/3 of your tables are empty. People will die of starvation before this place feeds them. What a joke!!!!

Restaurant needs a clean . Dust all over the window panes. The usual 20 minutes waiting for our drinks order and being asked to order before receiving the drinks.

Love the food here! Healthy meals and great service! I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

The service was great food was good had avocado egg rolls, spinach dip and jambalaya

My first time here and the atmosphere was really chill. The staff was nice and attentive. Food was timely. My pepperoni pizza was delicious. My husband got the asada pizza but it was kind of bland in flavor in comparison to others we've had. Overall the experience was great tho.

Fast and friendly service. Multiple selections of food. Comfortable space to eat.
