This is hands down the best sandwich shop in the city. The Rittenhouse is amazing, the Stromboli is incredible. I’m going to make this a weekly lunch spot from now on.

Best Stromboli I've ever had. There are so many sandwich and food choices it's hard not to find something you love. The service was amazing, and the owner is caring and willing to make a perfect sandwich for anyone.

FANTASTIC sandwich place!!! Highly highly recommend! The owner is an amazing person and the sandwich's are delicious! He had pepperoni Stromboli out for us to try and it was beyond stellar!! PLEASE GO TRY THIS LOCALLY OWNED RESTAURANT!! You will not be disappointed!

I was looking for a new place to try for lunch and this menu looked inviting. I went with the Mona Lisa thinking the chicken cutlet would be warm, but I really enjoyed the sandwich as they recommended. The service was Jimmy John's fast, but the sandwich was so much more. It was gone before I could grab a picture, but I'll be back again.

We were on holiday from the UK a few months ago and came across Tortorice's by chance, whilst visiting Rittenhouse Square. The service was superb, food was amazing. The sandwiches were beautiful, the best we have experienced. When we were finishing up, the owner actually offered us cake (free of charge) which was just as good. Cant praise this establishment enough, they went above and beyond. Next time we are in Philly, we will be back for sure.

My wife thinks this place is only pretty good--I think it is a culinary paradise, where God might get lunch if he were in Center City for the day. Fresh and quality ingredients on delicious sandwich buns, imaginatively and lovingly pieced together. The sum is better than the parts and the parts are pretty darn good. I've had great sandwiches before, but none better than the ones you find here.

I saw the piece that was highlighted on the news about your business...I wanted to share that it's amazing how you are offering free boxed meals to homeless & hungry children. In times of crisis it takes everyday people to step outside of their comfort zone and offer help. Kudos to the both of you...your level of commitment to the community is awesome. Great addition to Rittenhouse Square! I haven't lived in the area for a few years so was hankering after a hoagie. While Primo is just fine, I wanted a more hometown feel and found Tortorice's. They use Sarcone's rolls and wherever said that the bread was not good should think again. Great crust with nice pillowy crumb is just right. Three meats were top notch and sliced to order as they should be. The tomatoes and arugula were fresh and added great brightness to the sandwich. Must admit these are not usually descriptions I usually use for hoagies so that says something. A very small store so limited seating. On street parking or the garage around the corner off of 20th street of you're driving.

My fiancé and I ordered lunch for delivery and were not disappointed! Got the order in about 20 minutes and ate every bite of the delicious (and massive) sandwiches! Highly recommend the Mateo and Broad Street Bully.

Excellent sandwiches and GENEROUS portions. The regular is enough for two meals, easily. For a person of any size. Owner is very friendly and really cares. My favorite place to get sandwiches (usually get the Broad Street Bully)

Awesome! Regular size sandwich was perfect for two to share for light lunch. Clearly a business the owner is passionate about. Had to wait a bit for our order to be taken but was done within 5 mins... Going back for breakfast this morning!
