Great space. The special exhibit was confusing about when and where you can take a pic. And then within that space there's some places that allow you to take a video and others that do not.

A stunning building which is well worth the visit. Whether you're visiting just an exhibition or just for a cup of coffee this building deserves to be seen.

Huge place to discover some of the renowned arts of Japan and other countries. Some places inside the centre require an additional fee to visit.

The museum has 4 floors. The lowest one has a cafeteria, the first and second floors include galleries and special exhibition halls. The third has a library, a restaurant and more galleries. The Japanese art collection was exquisite, the western was good. I did not go to the special exhibition which was Cartier. The halls are very large and contain a larger amount of artwork compared to other museums as they are closer together. Overall it is worth a visit.

One of the greatest places to visit for an art enthusiast. You don't have to buy exhibition tickets of you are short on cash. Roam and find out one of the free exhibitions. There's always one. If you have time and money than buy the combo coz spending separately on different exhibits is not a good idea.

It is a very spacious building with three stories of galleries. When we went they had three different exhibits with a large variety of artists and styles. It was well worth the trip.

What a nice building, friendly staff, really enjoyed the Budapest Exhibition. Seems to me well selected art from across the decades, and divided into different eras, styles and of course not just Hungarian themes. They have the headsets for further explanation too, no pictures inside.

It is an architecturally amazing building (by Kurokawa) and you can actually go in and chill without paying. If you want to see exhibitions, pick one or two, they are not all great, but some are awesome. We really enjoyed our time there, some of the best art experience in Tokyo, even if on slightly expensive side.

Absolutely fabulous architecture. This is an “empty” gallery which hosts exhibitions but has no permanent collection of its own.It has 3 or 4 cafes and restaurants and 2 shops with great quirky items. Well wort a visit even if you don’t go to any of the exhibitions.

General entry was free but we paid to get into the exhibition floor (Modern Hungarian art but within the context of renaissance to modern european art) which boasted many important historical works. We were here toward the end of the day so we didn't get to see what else there is to do here, unfortunately.

One of my favorite place in Tokyo, high behind the busy street, pretty close to ropponggi station. The building itself is great and next to the main building there are a lot of area for people to chill and enjoy the moment. The art center often has great special exhibitions, it is really well curated; make sure not to miss their regular exhibition, it is usually free of charge and might have some interesting great content to surprise you.
