OMG! ... your Caprese sandwich absolutely out of this world! Thank you for elevating my lunch hour 😃ðŸ‘Update: I don't know if they changed recipe or lost a cook but they are making the caprese sandwich differently. Still good but not as good. They used to chop the chicken into small bite sized pieces and toss it in a bit of pesto, so delicious! But now it's just 2-3 large pieces of chicken that are a bit bland. Please Cafe Verdi, go back to the old way 😕

My wife and I eat at this place very often, and although the menu is standard fare, the quality of the food is excellent for the money. This is a very respectful business, in which the owner and his wife do their best to make their customers feel like you are eating at their home. They gave everyone in the restaurant a sample of their homemade Limon cello last Christmas. It was a friendly gesture to thank us for our patronage. This business has been at trolley square for years, and I thought it was pretty low class when the other higher-priced Italian restaurant opened up a few doors down.
