Cafe Venice Restaurant and Bar

We enjoyed the excellent service and great food. The crab cakes were the best my wife and I ever had.

So overpriced. The owner is rude. So so rude. The service was good, I had Kate as my server and she was the only good part of my experience. Who wants to eat at a restaurant where the owner/manager drinks at the bar all night and can't be found if needed?! It has a great concept but at the end of the day restaurants are only as good as the people who run them. The food was good but not worth the price at all. Some of my appetizer was still cold in the middle and my desert was chalky.

Okay so first off the serving amount per order was amazing and totally unexpected so come hungry... servers were quick, friendly and thorough. The flavor was amazing amazing amazing. Most definitely coming back! I order the sesame tuna, wedge salad and a filet mignon with asparagus. Bathroom were also very clean and beautiful.

Great food, beautiful restaurant and excellent service. We tried them for lunch today and my wife had the best french dip she's had anywhere. The New England clam chowder was outstanding with the most tender clam I've found. The blackened Mahi sandwich was thick and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is high class elegance, yet the outdoor seating is so relaxing. We sat on Venice Ave and enjoyed the new city landscaping. Then we saw the quaint and plentiful breezeway seating on the way out. Lunch prices were in line with other area restaurants, like Daiquiri Deck. Loved Cafe Venice.

We went to the restaurant New Years Eve at the early seating with another couple. The food and service was very good. Early the following morning I became very sick and remained sick the entire New Years day. The lady of the other couple also became very sick and remained sick for several days. I believe it may have been from unsanitary conditions in the kitchen. I emailed my concerns to the restaurant but never did get a response. No claim is being made, but it is doubtful I will return.

Lunch Menu has a variety of choices from soup&salad to full course meal. Price is reasonable with great service and attention to detail. Food served hot; with more than ample portions. Flavorful with the right touch of spices.

Absolutely outstanding catering! Kay, the owner, helped walk me through different options and made suggestions for sides. Everything received rave reviews: Mediterranean salad, pot roast, chicken piccata, penne pasta with meat sauce, crisp tender fresh green beans, and mashed potatoes. All delivered promptly at the promised time along with serving utensils, plates, napkins, and plastic ware. Cafe Venice is worthy of all 5 stars!

Excellent quality of food with a superb staff and customer service. We have enjoyed the catering services of Cafe Venice for an annual event we host and I can honestly say that a big part of the success of our event is the food, along with the job that Beth and her team do to make sure everything is perfect. Would strongly recommend for any event you are hosting that is in need of delicious food, friendly and reliable people.

Very well organised and accessible spot. They offer big portions and for economical rates. I liked the food a lot and the staff were super affable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

We’re from California and we were looking for a nice Restaurant to eat dinner at!!! We decided to eat at Café Venice Restuarant & Bar!!! Great decision!!! We really enjoyed our dinner, and I especially delighted in my Clam Chowder Bowl!!! We were a party of 6 and EVERYONE enjoyed their meals AND their drink selections!!! I want to especially THANK and commend Michelle D. for her friendly, efficient and personable service as our waitress for the evening!!! She seemed to know exactly what and when we needed extras and was there to answer ALL of our questions!!! She actually seemed like one of the family!!! We LOVED her!!! Thank you Michelle D.Again, we really enjoyed our meal and our choice in Restaurant!!! 🤗🎉💕
