Some of the best Tibetan food I've ever had. Friendly attentive service and very inexpensive. I will be back again soon.

Very tiny place but the food is absolutely delicious. The curry noodles are tasty and the chili dishes are hot. They are cash only but there is an ATM next door. Check it out

Everything we had was delicious. We ordered fried chicken momos, thali, and a spicy stir fried noodle dish. The noodles were my favorite. Even though it said very spicy on the menu, it wasn't that bad. Will definitely come here again.

This place rocks, awesome authentic Himalayan food with extremely reasonable prices. I got the Sukuti Thali which came with a little bit of everything, which is perfect for me because I hate ordering the wrong thing. My only critique is there was a tad too much salt. If it was dialed back a little bit, this place would be perfect. Either way, I'm definitely coming back again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Avocado shake is really really good. Initially, we ordered curry beef and we didn't like it at all. Luckily, the waitress let us exchange it for the spicy chili beef which was delicious and made up for the previous dish.

Came by to try out some Tibetan food. The curry was alright.. not that great. The chicken has a lot of bones.. so be prepared for that. The bread was a no go. Better off going with the rice. The restaurant itself is pretty cramped. Expect dim lighting. Not sure, but dim lighting always makes the place seem dirty. Not sure if I'd return for the food.. maybe in the distant future.

Hole in the wall restaurant with delicious Tibetan food. We felt like Tibetan royalty as soon as we walked in. Everything we ordered looked amazing and tasted delicious. We picked this place as a road trip food stop and it was totally worth it!

What happened to Cafe Tibet?? This just to be such a solid neighborhood staple! Ever since they renovated, which btw, I have no idea why they decided to do that. The old decor was the best part! The banners everywhere, the green walls, the dim lighting.. the location on top of the subway, made this spot feel so otherworldy. Now, it's just, sterile. The food is bland and has lost all its flavor. The chow mein tasted like old wok oil and the shrimp curry was sickly sweet. So so disappointing. Bring back the old crew and chef!

Amazing food, been coming here for a year. Best vegetable curry I’ve had in NY! Very reasonably priced too. Authentic food in a laid back setting 🥘

Can't say enough good things about Cafe Tibet. The service was kind, prompt and very welcoming. They were knowledgeable, and really believed in their product. The food was fresh, and I could really feel the LOVE that went into its preparation. I had the Vegan Momo Balls, and Chana-katsaBeautiful atmosphere as well!

Very good and cosy little spot for Tibetan food. Easy to miss, right by the subway entrance! Loved the setting with the green walls and decorations. Most of the food was delicious and quite new to me. The curry was excellent and creamy. The soup was hearty. Try also the platter which comes with many delicious little sides. Sadly, the momos (Tibetan dumplings) were a the only disappointing part of the meal, a bit dry, under-seasoned and under-filled. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area!
