Awesome little spot that packs a punch on the food quality. Phenomenal banh mi sandwich, and may be the best I’ve tried. The salads were also amazing with freshly cooked ingredients.

The Protein Salad was delicious if not a little expensive. You know, expensive is the new cost of being in any city. BUT, worth it. Very fresh ingredients with the warm chicken breast on salad was outstanding... delicious honey mustard dressing. Just enough provided to cover all the lettuce without it being too much or to little.

Great food and drinks! I got the Maple latte and fully loaded breakfast sandwich. My wife got the lavender latte and Cragel sandwich. Absolutely would recommend!

I really love this very unique little cafe a gem in Old City. Friendly and fast service and a very extensive menu from breakfast sandwiches, wraps, paninis, a variety of salads, and melts. Also there's smoothies are super amazing my favorite is the tropical passion smoothie which has strawberry pineapple Orange and I think banana. Nothing but fruit and wholesome goodness. The store is very clean and spacious and has a nice vibe. It feels like home when you walk into the store and you're greeted by the open brick face walls very old city style type of store. Today I bought two sandwiches one was called the swedish fish which lots avocado bacon fried egg capers and more is on a toasted bagel I also tried out there Italian melt on toasted ciabatta bread. This really made my day even though it's snowing in Philadelphia at least I'll know I'll have a full stomach in the energy I need before I have to go to work.

I have been in the US for 15 days on vacagions and that was the best hot chocolate I've tried (the nutella one).

Lovely staff. Accommodating, prompt with orders and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was delicious. The coffee had a nice quick and complimented with the sweetness of condensed milk - loads of it too! The panini was cooked with TLC - succulent chicken, good amount of greens and the bread was toasted to perfection. I highly recommend you add in something wet like a sauce - condiments were available such as the classic Heinz Tomato sauce, but I went with the Siracha. Crazy as it is to add this to the pesto but Mayo would have been a perfect addition, but it's a suggestion to the owners. Tasty, good portion size, compacted into a loaded panini. Beautiful!

Someone wrote a review about seeing a roach... I too saw one. Was waiting for my sandwich to be made and looking at the side wall next to where the guy was making a sandwich, there was a large roach scaling the wall. I used to really like it here but I question how sanitary it is.

The "fully loaded" sandwich with an iced coffee was a superb mix. Worth a visit, and the atomosphere is quite cozy.

Right now, this cafe is not offering dining in, and not serving coffee, at this time. However, I did receive good customer service, and I wish I had enjoyed the lavender latte more; it sounded better. It did not taste bad, but it certainly did not taste as though it contained food grade lavender oil.

SUCH good breakfast sandwiches and paninis for lunch! Wraps are amazing too. Can't go wrong with Cafe Square One.

Wow, Fab.U.Lous grilled sandwiches. My friend & I were walking around Old City/River Rink and virtually nothing was open. Thank goodness for yelp & what a find! THE BEST sandwiches we've had in a while. I had the Cubano, she had the Gobbler. Both stacked nicely with high quality meats on both. I couldn't even finish mine. Pickles, sliced smoked ham & pork on mine, hers real sliced turkey breast, bacon and red peppers. Grilled to perfection, gooey, yet crispy and warm! Sat in the park on Chestnut and had a lovely alfresco lunch on a beautiful chilly day. Will be back!!

Got the chipotle chicken sandwich panini, it was amazing and the customer service was quick and kind!

Nice easy place for a good morning breakfast. The computer kept on the side helps you punch the menu easily and when order is ready. You are called or served. The food I ordered was delicious. The flavours were a mix on the palette. I enjoyed. The music, the ambience is very nice. I will visit again.
