The the cooking is yummy and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a splendid time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Great dinner! Meals were delicious and staff was attentive. I had braised beef over risotto and cannoli for dessert. Would recommend if you are in the Shippan area of Stamford.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I have tried. Very fresh and lots of selection. Good wine list as well. The service is amazing; It ads so much to the experience. The food is consistent, always delicious. Must try!

One of the original best Italian restaurants within 100 miles. They have so many choices and will make whatever you want. They ran out of a special dish so improvised with cheese ravioli topped with a light prosciutto pea cream sauce and a touch of gorgonzola. WOW! And they have great wine to boot. And don't forget dessert! Cant wait to go back.

You will have to wait - be prepared... but doing be discouraged! One of the few legitimate old school Italian restaurants in Stamford! A must!

Food is excellent from the bread to the last bite of dessert. Very traditional italian restaurant, homemade pasta. The lamb shank special was fantastic!

A extremely popular Italian restaurant. Hours of queue expected if no reservation is made. However, food doesn’t seem to live up to its popularity. Black linguine is great.Scallopine feels oily and tasteless. Antipasti tastes too salty. Services is alright, wine and dessert are good. Doesn’t worth the 2 hour queue...

This place is actually the best Italian in Stamford maybe even CT! The pours are massive, the portions are amazing, and the range of everything they have blows my mind. Nothing here was not delicious and something about it just makes you want to eat more!

The food is fresh! Great service. Small but cozy. The servers are very helpful and knowledgeable! The owners Nick and Vincenzo bring the homemade Italian taste to the menu. Nice selection of wines and desserts. Love this place! In the middle of a jam packed dining room I witnessed 1 waiter menacingly grab another waiter by the shirt collar, then mere seconds later they hugged, high 5'ed, & parted ways. It was confusing & exhilirating. I had the rigatoni gnic gnac, for dinner, it was delicious.

Absolutely delicious!!! Best Italian meal I've had in a very long time. A must stop restaurant if your in or around Stamford, if you can get in.

Went to cafe Silvium with kathy frank judy and Christopher We had a solid meal. Wasn't perfect but good. I had the chicken scarpiello which was ok the sausage was very good. Kathy and Judy had the shrimp scampi with risotto. It was saturated in butter. Chicken parmigiana was good and the best was what chris had. The marsopone. It was excellent. Service was good.
