Good Cajun restaurant in the French quarter. The open windows around the during area was nice, so you felt connected to the street and could people watch.I tried it the gumbo, good flavoring in the broth, I'm not a huge seafood fan so it wasn't my favorite, but seasoning was on point. The red beans and rice was delicious, do yourself a favor and add some Louisiana hit sauce on that thing.NOLA blonde beer was a great beer and went well with the dishes.

The Rajin Cajun Pasta was delicious. It had just the right amount heat but not over powering for your taste buds. Service was great. We are in New Orleans often and will definitely return.

Pro: good food, awesome location. We got an open window seat which made it feel very European. Food tasted good, and for how busy everywhere else was, we had no wait. Con: a little pricey ($10/kids meals and $14+ for adults for the simple meals). Small portion sizes.

The food was acceptable for the price. The service was almost as forgettable as it was forgetful. No sooner had our food been flopped on the table it was as though we were cast under some cloak of invisibility. But let's face it, people dine here for the locale and for the scenery. If you can stay on the radar and keep your glass filled, well worth the stop.

This place is in a great location to people watch and enjoy the true essence of New Orleans. It’s located right by the St. Louis Cathedral. They have live entertainment right outside as well as local artists displaying their artwork. However, the food.... the food. I had the shrimp and grits. Very basic. The grits needed a LOT of seasoning. The food did its job by sustaining me but my taste buds didn’t do a happy dance. My nephew had the crawfish omelette and he said it was really really good. My brother in law had the eggs benedict and potatoes and he said they both were average. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were good. The pickled green beans in the Bloody Mary was sooooo good!

This place was excellent. Lots of food for the money. Spicy level was great for those that love spicy. The not so spicy was also available. The shrimp platter was a lot of shrimp. All 11 of us enjoyed what we ordered

Had Crawfish Étouffée. Pretty good, although not as spicy as I expected. The blackened chicken came with green beans and cajun potatoes. The chicken and beans were very spicy. Server was pleasant. The downside was there doesn’t seem to be air conditioning so we were quite warm on an August day and hen we were hoping to get a little relief.

Red beans and rice and a cup of gumbo! We loved it. We got there just as they were starting to switch from breakfast to lunch so we did opt to wait about 5-10 minutes so we could get lunch. Location is great! You can eat while looking at Jackson Square and people watch a little too! Our server was very nice and checked on us often. Definitely recommend checking out!

Whatbi ordered was a Pena Jambalaya. What I got was NOT Jambalaya. It was over cooked pasta, store bought pasta sauce over seasoned with spices and shrimp and sausage thrown in. I could have made something better at home. Ive had amazing food this entire trip and this was just sad and terrible. So very disappointing

Great location, with a nice view of the plaza. Bloody Mary was good, but my steak was severely undercooked. I ordered medium-rare, but it was practically raw. My friend ordered medium and we all agreed his was closer to medium rare. Didn't have time to send back. I'd still recommend the place for it's location and fair prices, but if you're ordering a steak make it clear how you want it...

Waiter was amazing. (Older gentleman with beard and sunglasses) Food was great as well, had chicken breast and potatoes/fries. Overall great experience.

Heard it was bad service but we had a terrific time. Went for dinner on a beautiful Thursday night. Great location right by the cathedral. Sat by the street. Quick service. Very tasty food. We had seafood platter with catfish, shrimp, and oysters. The whole experience was lovely.

This place was ok. Service was ok, we waited for a while to get served. Also my food came out really good. I got the oyster and shrimp platter, I thought the seasonings were really good for the fried food. Only thing I didn't like was the fries were bland. My wife got a shrimp poboy she didn't like it at all. Really lacked flavor she thought. Recommend trying at your own risk.
