Lunch was so good, we went back for dinner! You can absolutely tell that Chef Victor has such talent and dedication preparing everything - from appetizers to entrees to dessert, everything was delicious! The server, Meg, was delightful too, and they make a great team and create a delicious and enjoyable experience. Lovely dining space, lovely people, fabulous food!

Best grits I've ever had with smoked gouda. The crab omelette was amazing. They have a great new chef and our server Scottie was very attentive. Came here for Sunday brunch and will definitely come back to taste the gumbo.

WOW!!!!! We loved this place. If you are looking for a great place with authentic NOLA food, this is your place! The server was very attentive. The chef is a native New Orleanian and great. The food was awesome. We will definitely stop in for some great food again!

Nice little restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg. I had the crawfish monica and it was excellent and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back to try out more items on the menu.

We had the chance to meet Chef Victor before we ordered. I had brunch/lunch with a group of friends. I recommend the blackened shrimp. It was hot/delicious and seasoned. The chocolate mousse was creamy and decadent, a dream with a cherry on top. We also had beignets fresh and sweet. It is a future go to when in downtown Fredericksburg.

I love Cafe New Orleans, I will return again and again for the shrimp Po' Boy! Chef Josh has a great set of skills and the intimate atmosphere is a truly hidden gem downtown on William street. Great spot for a quick lunch or for a dinner. I will return! Always a special or a lunch deal and you can find coupons for it at the visitor's center downtown.

Out for an anniversary dinner and we stopped in here because it seemed quiet and quaint. The place was almost completely empty and we wondered why but took the risk. The menu is amazing and the food was INCREDIBLE! We shared a crab cake salad (best ones I've ever had!), the root beer sliders appetizer, and the duck and andouille sausage jambalaya. Everything was so delicious! The chef came to our table to ask how we enjoyed the food. The only reason this place doesn't get a 5-star review is because our server was incredibly lackluster. We actually joked about what it would take for us to simply get a smile out of her. (We did finally get one.) Despite the server, we would definitely return for the amazing food.

Amazing food and personable service. The menu is creative. Everything was superb!! Make sure to pack your patience because they take their time, but the food was worth the wait.

We came in at 3:30 ordered appetizer at 3:40 received appetizer at 4. Ordered food at 4.. wrong food brought out at 4:45! Dishes were filthy and half washed sent back a plate and two shot glasses were disgusting. One of my shots had something floating in it. They tried to mk up for the horrible service by offering 2 orders of fireball shots. But, clearly it didn't make up for the experience. Especially if something was floating in the shot glass. The food isn't good and tastes nothing like New Orleans food which is full of flavor. I will not be returning!

Came in because my mom is from New Orleans and had to try the beignets. They were amazing! The chef came out and he is definitely from New Orleans. He said he just started two weeks ago and threw out all of the old recipes from the previous chef. I'm stoked to try his Jambalaya!
