One of my preferred places to grab something to eat. good location, neat, and awesome service. Keep it up!

This place is awesome, and the people are nice... we pulled in because it was the only place with parking, but was so glad we did. Plus it was clean. Will be back soon.

This is a family oriented type atmosphere with good conversation and delicious food. You always leave Monell's satisfied. This is always a clean establishment. Perfect for a Sunday lunch or brunch.

Love this place. Just as good as Monells but if I just want a small meal, there's no waiting on tables, and fruit tea is always available.

Monell's Cafe has tasty enough food served from a steam table setting. I had chicken and two sides, and the sides were good too. The chicken was good but not spectacular. The portions were generous for the sides, though the chicken pieces I got weren't very large. The price though was super reasonable. $9.95 for a meat and two sides. I almost tried the pot roast rather than the chicken. It looked good on the steam table.

Hard to evaluate fairly, we planned a guys breakfast get together. Showed up at 7:00 open time and we were met at door and told cook was running late and they would be opening at 8:00. Morning of tornado could have been weather related. We were on a tight schedule. We ended up at cracker barrel and enjoyed a good breakfast.

First time in Nashville. Had to try Meat + 2 sides. Had fried chicken, corn pudding and green beans. Very good.

The food was cooked to perfection. The place was small, but the people were kind. Everything tasted amazing!

Different from other locations. This is buffet style. Some of the helpings they give are kind of skimpy & others you get a decent amount. Different price levels based on whether you're getting a meat & 1, or meat & 2, etc. Very small parking lot. Staff seem pleasant. Quiet atmosphere.

Outstanding food, everything home made to perfection. Definitely going back for 3rd time. Delicious!!!

If you want great skillet fried chicken, Monells Cafe is the place to go in Nashville. This location is not a family style dinner like the other locations. It's cafeteria style with a limited, but always good selection. Southern cooking at it's best.

My family enjoys Monells for good, southern cooking. We’ve only been here for lunch, but it’s been great so far. The Berry Hill location (Café Monells) is cafeteria style which is different than the other locations: you order up at the front and take your plate to the table. They are known for their skillet-fried chicken which is excellent. We’ve had good service every time we’ve been here.

Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had! Good portions of amazing southern breakfast food. If you’re in Nashville, I highly recommend making a stop!

I’m from Toronto and this is not only the best dining experience I had in Tennessee but one of the best I’ve ever had period. Super gracious, friendly and attentive staff. Food was absolutely delectable and clearly made with love. The social experience of sitting with strangers like it’s a holiday dinner was something so beautifully rare to experience nowadays. Do yourself a favor and check this restaurant out!

Sorry but this place is pretty good but not really sure where all the 5 stars come from. Chicken is pretty good if you get it hot and fresh. Green Beans are canned with no seasoning. Its a steam table meat and three style food if thats what you are looking for. Never been to the big one on Murfreesboro Rd. , Berry Hill location is the one we tried.
