Cafe Mezcla

Really nice, small place! The chicken and waffles were the best I've ever had. The location is very easy to miss as it is tucked away in a shopping center.

I was really excited to try the food from this place. This morning I placed an order via DoorDash but Cafe Mezcla canceled my order without explanation. Nobody called me to explain why which is why I'm giving it one star. I am disappointed by the lack of communication.

Friendly. Excellent spin on chicken and waffles. Bit of spicy sweet Asian sauce just a drizzle. Very fresh !

I love this place! Admittedly my experience with their menu is limited solely to the Lola crepe (a sublime combination of berries, custard, and whipped cream all swaddled in a perfect crepe), which is just TOO GOOD to bring myself to order anything else every time I'm there - though I really should, as other patrons always seem happy with their food! The people behind the counter always seem genuinely pleasant and happy to be there.The only downside is that they close at 3pm, but it's probably for the best, as I really should not be any more tempted than I already am to survive on their crepes alone, forever.

I love this place - fantastic crepes and waffles! My favorite is the chicken waffles with jalapeno maple syrup. I was really sad when they did away with the bubble tea, but still lots of fantastic options here!

First none of the kitchen employees wore hairnets or hats, and some of them had quite a bit of hair. Red flag number one, but I could get over it if the restaurant ran smooth and seemed cleanly.The entire restaurant was over crowded and loud. I understand that they cannot control the patrons but a group of young girls were seated in the center shreaking incessantly throughout the 45 minute experience. Our food came out and was delivered to two different tables. TWO. It took the second customer bringing our food back to the counter before the kitchen realized they misdelivered again. They didn't even offer to remake our food that had now sat on two different tables for ten minutes. The food was cold, prodded by other customers and then reserved with no apologies. service was awful. The plastic wear was dirty as if a coffee or syrup had spilled into them and they took 15 minutes to refill the sugar for the coffee. We will not be returning.

Excellent service. Not a lot of people working at once but they move out the orders fast. Coffee and food are delicious. Cute vibe too if you wanted to read or work on a laptop.

The food is worth the wait. I really appreciate how family friendly this place is.

Really good food with fast and friendly service! We ordered the Mezcla fries (not to be missed!), Mr. D crepe, and the strawberry sensation crepe. We will be back!

Great Sunday breakfast spot. Waffles were light and crispy with great toppings! No pictures to post because we ate our food so fast. A bit hidden from the main road but worth the trip!
