Cafe Metro

We went here from breakfast twice during a recent visit to the city. The breakfast sandwiches were good, as were the French toast and pancakes. The food didn’t change my life or anything, but it was good! The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean. The coffee wasn’t great - that would be my only complaint. This will definitely be my breakfast stop when I return to the city, I’ll just bring my own coffee.

Great food reasonable priced great place for breakfast

Walk in, fast food type of breakfast place. Food was what to be expected, no real complaint or compliments there. The problem are that it is way overpriced even by Manhattan standards. Could easily go to a diner in Manhattan and pay the same price as this fast food place. Ordering is a nightmare. Mass chaos ordering and paying which led to the food being cold by my the time I ate. One customer asked for his money back because he had hair in his food. This led to more mass chaos at the register trying to get his refund. This place is way too disorganized to visit. The Dublin Donuts next door is a better option.

Get a receipt! Its NY so I figured it would be expensive. Over charged and the not so nice girl behind the counter refused a refund. Dunkin is next door, better option. Food was average at best

I love this place , food very fresh and the salads is perfect

Clean place with nice service in a convenient location. The young lady at the salads stand was particularly kind and accommodating, she had all the patience until we finally made up our minds. I build to myself a gigantic salad with all kind of good stuff like shrimps, blue cheese, parmesan and kalamata olives for 11.49 bucks.

Incredible food, all made fresh. The best meal we had in our 4 days in the city.

Was in metro 28 11 19 ordered one burger three fries got burger after ten minutes over the following 20 minutes was asked twice what I was waiting for by the time I got fries burger was cold absolute chaos street vendor would have been a better option

Delicious food! Can be a little pricey.

Customer Service is disgusting. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich and i asked that it please be warmed up .while it was being heated up the pita bread broke and i kindly asked for another .The cook argued with me to tell me it's not supposed to be warmed up ..instead of just doing as i ask i am a paying customer and i deserve same service as anyone else..In the customer service business you don't tella person what they shouldn't do. you never know whats going on with a person ie can't eat cold foods .. This was very upsetting and i will never give my money to any metro ever again .i will be contacting corporate !

Meh, its another quick casual concept. Food is mediocre but convenient. Lots of options but nothing really stands out IMO.

A peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food good quality. Restrooms clean.
